Aatrox Rework Concept

For a while now, Aatrox has been probably one of the worst and most ignored champions in the League of Legends. His kit is outdated and not even good to begin with and Riot tried to fix him a few times but they seem to have given up on the poor guy. I have never even played him. But, that doesn't mean I can't lend a few ideas to help enhance his overall gameplay.

First lets take a look at his passive Bloodwell. I like the idea of him filling up his passive and gaining health based off of how full it is. However, the revive thing I don't think is needed. Instead of reviving and gaining health dependent on how full his passive is and then turning into a sitting duck because he loses all his benefits once his passive drains. And instead of his abilities costing him health to fill his passive, his autos should fill it instead in small bits so it doesn't fill up too quickly. His abilities will also fill it up slightly. Very small amounts for hitting minions and slightly bigger amounts for hitting champions. Also the more full his passive is the more lifesteal he will be granted up to 10% when full helping him sustain in lane and in 1v1 situations. The fact this his autos and abilities fill up his passive based on hitting enemies makes him better in team fights as well when hitting multiple enemies with his attacks. His passive will tie into his ultimate which I'll go on about later.

Next up is his Q Dark Flight This is definitely an ability that would be great if it worked better. Not much I care to change about it except for the fact that it's only utility is the knock-up IF you manage to hit it on point. Which is already difficult to do considering how easy it is to dodge the ability. One thing that should be added to it is a slow for if they get hit by it just outside the center. When you look at it's targeted point you see two circles. The knock up and the area damage zone where the knock up isn't applied. A slow should be added to that zone that way the ability actually has some usefulness to it.

Now it's time for his W Blood Thirst/Blood Price I don't like this ability's mechanics at all. But, I do think the bonus damage idea should be kept. Sort of like your autos deal bonus damage as you put points into it kind of passive. Then to keep in the theme of his blade being able to extend into a whip-like weapon, his ability's active will turn his weapon into that whip like form and he sweeps the area in front of him dealing damage to all enemies that are hit.

Next is his E Blades of Torment Slow cast. Easy to dodge. Almost useless unless your opponent sits there like an idiot. So I'm going to suggest a similar ability. New name. Dark Divide. Instead of laying down a slow when it hits a target it lowers their armor for a few seconds as well as dealing on hit damage. This will be good with his Q because he can dive in, get the knock up or slow if he lands it and once he's in close he can fire Dark Divide to lower their armor while they are stuck next to him allowing him to deal damage with his autos since he's in close.

Finally his Ultimate Massacre It says that he draws in the blood of his foes. Yet you'd think that would heal him somehow. Which is why it would be better to actually play into what the ability says. When you activate his ult, all enemies around him have their health drained and added to his own. He will also gain increased attack speed and damage based on how full his passive was when he activated his ult. His passive will drain completely when he activates his ult but he gets bonus increase into it with his autos and abilities during the duration of his ult. Let's say he drains the blood that his enemies lose when he hits them during his ult.

I hope you guys think that this would be a good idea for an Aatrox rework. Give it a like so that Riot will take a look at it! Leave a comment and tell me your thoughts and how I could make this idea better!
