What do you all think about a shen rework? I honestly just dont see him played at all anymore is it just the meta right now or has he fallen off?

The nerfs to Shen have hurt Shen early game making him too weak to not loose his tower or lane early. Jungler's have to baby sit him to stop this but at the top lane that is predictable countered by seeing the lane pushed in by the other jungler.

Shen needs a rework because his kit had to be nerfed too much because he could sustain his HP in a fight more than other's along with doing damage and controlling when fights happen. His sustain needs to be removed. There's already life steal items and health regen items that were always being stacked on top of Shen's sustain with his Vorpal blade. He should focus on controlling when fight's happen, get a AOE, and have different support skills that are not dps regen paired with a taunt and frozen mallet. He needs counter game play built into his kit. Feint should be changed to be more like sion's soul furnance shield but in a supportive way instead of a damage aoe. Ki strike or shadow dash should be his damage AOE for clearing minion waves faster. Shen's ulti needs a push away from ally mechanic to better save his ally and him when he teleports in.

I don't play Shen anymore because his early game is horrible nerfed so he wouldn't become too much of a op champion later on.

I think that Shen would be fine with a few minor tweaks. The primary one being that his W and R should scale with Bonus Health instead of AP. There are items that you can build on Shen that have HP and AP on them, but its hard to justify, since he also NEEDS to build resist to make the HP worth anything. Ruined King is a popular item on a TON of champs, and there are many others with % health dmg abilities. You need the resist stats (AR and MR) or your hp wont matter.

His Q IMO could have its base Damage increased a little bit, and if we remove AP scaling all together, have a small amount of total AD scaling. Like 20% maybe?

Maybe something like: 60/120/180/240/300(+20%AD) and for pete's sake, if he kills a minion with it, just give the full heal, its only 22+1.5% max health at max rank. You already don't get to heal more than once off of it, and allies cant use it. Why did it need reduced?

Would it be a big deal if his Ki strike came up more often at higher levels? Something like -1 second at levels 6, 11, and 16?

Also, how come Shen is the ONLY ninja who's Energy costs don't decrease with rank? Just having his energy costs scale down like all the other ninjas would do wonders.

Q- 60/55/50/45/40

W- 60/57.5/55/52.5/50

E- 100/95/90/85/80

or what about having the taunt duration go up?

go 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 seconds?

Im just spewing random ideas at this point. I really like Shen's kit, it just seems overnerfed.

Any of these ideas look alright to you guys?

Shahamut, some of these actually seem like good ideas to me. I was wondering about the decreasing energy costs...

Yup I don't like the new Shen aswell. He's a lot weaker now.
