The Wanderer: Champion Concept
Ok so I have been playing this game since like end of season 2 and I am just now making my first forum post.
I was bored the other day in the shower (where all great thoughts come about) and decided to think up a new champion concept. I wanted to do something with a really unique passive that could really push the boundaries of the game but should be simple enough on the development side.
Considering the recent champions to be released I thought we might be due for another hulking, but dynamic bruiser with some serious in game decision making. So I came up with this concept: what if Braum had a brother? Everybody likes Braum, he's a hero to all, fables are told of him but maybe not everyone loves him. Maybe someone has always been envious of his big brother. "Gormel" (I still can't come up with a better name) the Wanderer could never live up to his brother's fame. So instead of following in his siblings footsteps, he took his sack on his back and went off, wandering the Freljord.
Gormel is a hulking brute overpowering anything in his path with simply his mighty fists. He carries his massive pack on his back giving him plenty of room to carry the spoils of his adventures.
Passive: Wanderers Pack - Gormel is able to buy an unlimited amount of items at the cost of movement speed. Gormel's pack progressively gains "weight" as he buys items. "Weight" decreases Gormel's movement speed.
Q: Thundering Swipe - Gormel swings his mighty fists out in a short range skillshot, dealing physical damage and knocking back enemies struck
W: Reckless Charge - Gormel lets loose a thundering roar, permanently shattering a portion of his armor and gaining movement speed from the lost "weight" while fearing nearby enemies. Gormel may repair his armor with gold in the item shop or may have Ornn repair his armor on the rift for a discount.
E: Uppercut - On his next auto attack (acts as an auto attack reset) Gormel uppercuts foe, dealing bonus attack damage and briefly knocking up his enemy.
R: Wanderers Essentials - Before using his ultimate, Gormel may choose what he wants to grab from his pack:
- Campfire: Gormel drops down a raging campfire, healing himself and nearby allies and burning enemies with a damage over time effect while they are in the radius.
- Shovel/Pickaxe: Gormel slams down his shovel/pickaxe a short distance in front of him, digging a hole, dealing damage, rooting and grounding enemies in the radius of the hole
- Parachute: Gormel flies into battle on his parachute, gaining significantly increased movement speed and becoming untargetable by melee attacks. Gormel can not attack or use abilities while on his parachute.
Let me know what you guys think!!! I had tons of fun thinking this up!
