Some new ideas to enhance your community experience:

#Introduction

This thread is open to a discussion and all opinions are helpful.

I wanted to instigate one with some ideas I had to help the NA boards have some new features. I hope you enjoy the features I'm suggesting and give feedback.

#Suggestions

These events would be hosted rarely of course. Some could be for occasions or repeated as well. The submissions would be on the boards of course!

##Skin Contests

• A contest where participants compete with their art skills to create a skin for a champion. 3D models and drawings are accepted. The LoL community would be the judges with the contest being shown in the news section of the client. The winner will have their skin become official for the said champion.
• Champions, like Yorick, would be getting skins!
• Different themes can be used as requirements to win the contest.

##Log-in Screen Contests

• A bit of a more difficult one. However, it's also another art contest where users create animated pictures for the log-in screen. Themes, champion pools, and other requirements can be added.

##North American Board Tournaments

• I don't see many "official" tournaments going on for people on the boards or what-not. They are difficult to manage. The incentive here could just be some blue essence or just fun. A warden or higher authority could host it.
• The type of tournament, amount of participants, time, and frequency of the tournaments would rely on wardens or higher.
• Winners could get a hextech chest.
• There would be an issue of "skill" but that's what a tournament is for. Those with the most skill come out on top. Of course, a team of challengers vs bronze players would not be allowed. There could be a elo requirement.

##Design Contests

• This is a big one. Not in text, but in scope. Essentially, I was thinking having artists create UIs(User Interface)/GUIs(Graphical User Interface) for the client or boards. We already know Riot can have a thread have its own unique design. We can incorporate that into a contest.
• No, I am not saying the entirety of the boards/client. I am talking about sections.

#Dilemmas

• An organized way of getting submissions or nicely designed way is not currently available other than posts to me from the boards. This is considering we do not use third party sites.
• These events rely on those who can host such things.
• Riot's and the community's approval is necessary.
