Xavier, The Betrayer of Targon Appearance: I am a terrible artist but I imagine him as similar to Rugged Garen but wielding a Glaive and with a Targon/Darkin crossed color scheme(Taric/Varus) **Lore I guess for now: **Xavier was the host of the aspect of the protector who after hearing of villages in Shurima being destroyed by some abomination Xavier decided to travel to Shurima to gain more information and end the threat. After a year long investigation and a ton of damaged being caused by the abomination. Xavier eventually encountered the abomination when it attempted to attack a caravan that he was traveling with. The abomination that attacked turned out to be a former explorer who found the Darkin Glaive Kaarla and was completely taken over by the Darkin. Engaging the Darkin in battle Xavier was eventually victorious and defeated the host of the glaive. Xavier remembering the history of the Darkin and what the aspect of twilight did to them decided instead in that moment that he wanted to avenge the Darkin and to try to save them. Picking up the Darkin Glaive Xavier said just one thing to Kaarla, Do you wish to be saved? The Protector having to abandon Xavier for betraying Targon but understanding why he did it left behind some of his strength to aid Xavier in his new path. The Path of the Avenger. Kaarla Putting her faith in Xavier in hopes of returning to being an Ascended commits her strength to Xaviers cause, figuring out a way to save all the Darkin he can. Some other lore notes: Before this encounter with the Darkin he only had knowledge of what happened and at the time thought it was the right call. However seeing the Darkin in action and the horrors that they were turned into felt utterly disgusted in what the Aspect of Twilight did and is now devoted to avenging/saving the Darkin. He is currently mortal and is aging again now that most of the protectors strength is gone and does not hold a grudge against the protector for the abandonment, completely understanding why it happened. Kaarlas faith in Xavier is keeping her anger about what happened somewhat at bay however she is still more then willing to kill for the sake of killing. Kaarlas faith is supported by the fact Xavier is more then willing to not resist when she wants control of the body and in return tries not to do anything to harm him. Kaarla could be Varus "sister" He wanders the world now trying to find other Darkin aswell as a way to revert what the aspect of twilight did. Base Stats: Too lazy to think about Abilites: (Numbers are not final just to represent somewhat the damage/healing/shielding they are supposed to do compared to other abilities) P: The Darkin Pact Xaviers pact with the Darkin Glaive Kaarla gives them shared control over Xaviers body giving additional effects on their basic abilities based off of who is currently in control. Xavier and Kaarla have a secondary resource bar "Darkin Pact" to show who is in control and how close the other one is to gaining control casting basic abilites adds to this resource bar. Upon switching control Xavier or Kaarla will cast either The Protectors Gift or The Darkins Curse. The Protectors Gift: In a 250 radius around Xavier all allied champions are healed for (10 - 180 based on level + 0.30 AP) and have 15% increased movement speed for 1 seconds. The Darkins Curse: In a 250 radius around Kaarla all enemies are damaged for (10 - 180 based on level + 0.30 AP) magic damage and have 15% reduced movement speed for 1 seconds. Q: The Glaives Mark 60/65/70/75/80 Mana 16/14/12/10/8 second cooldown Xaviers/Kaarlas next 3 auto attacks within 5 seconds deal (20/40/60/80/100 + 0.35 AP + 0.40 Bonus AD) bonus magic damage and apply a mark on enemy champions and neutral monsters based off who is in control for 3 seconds. Adds 5 to "Darkin Pact" doubled against champions and neutral monsters. (Note. Enemies can have both marks applied to them. If applying a mark on the target that they already have it will refresh the duration of the mark and count as a new application of the Mark. Examples of how to get both marks on a target, Casting Mark of the glaive at 95/100 "Darkin Pact" and switching control mid cast will count the remaining attacks as the other mark) Xavier: Mark of the Protector: Allied champions who attack this target are healed for **(10/15/20/25/30 + 0.20 AP + 3% Bonus Health) **each individual champion can only be healed this way once per application of the Mark. Kaarla: Mark of the Darkin: Allied champions who attack this target deal (10/15/20/25/30 + 0.20 AP + 3% Bonus Health) additional magic damage. each individual champion can only deal bonus damage once per application of the Mark. W: Avenging Presence 80/85/90/95/100 Mana 24/22/20/18/16 second cooldown Radius 400 Xavier/Kaarla surround themselves with either celestial magic or shadow magic based off who is in control dealing (100/150/200/250/300 + 1.00 AP) magic damage over 4 seconds and gaining 25% movement speed and an additional effect based off who is in control. (Damage procs every 0.25 seconds) Generates 20 Darkin pact on cast and 1 additional pact per proc that hits a champion or neutral monster. Xavier: All allied champions within the Radius gain a stacking shield every 0.25 seconds for (5/7/9/11/13 + 0.10 AP) that lasts for 4 seconds. Max Shield: (80/112/144/176/208 + 1.60 AP) Kaarla: All enemies within the Radius are slowed by 20% and receive a stacking debuff that reduces armor and magic resist reduced by 1/1/2/2/3 every 0.25 seconds lasting for 4 seconds. Max reduced resists 16/16/32/32/48 E: Retribution 65/70/75/80/85 Mana 10/9/8/7/6 second cooldown Range 400 Xavier/Kaarla strike in a line with either celestial magic or shadow magic based off who is in control dealing (5/10/15/20/25+ 0.50 AP + 1.0 Total AD) magic damage and gaining additional effects based off who is in control. Gains 1/1/2/2/3 Darkin pact per enemy hit, tripled against Champions or Neutral Monsters. Xavier: Gains 100 Additional Range and applies Mark of the Protector to enemy champions or neutral monsters hit Kaarla: Range is converted into a Radius surrounding Kaarla and applies Mark of the Darkin to enemy champions or neutral monsters hit R: Unbreakable Bond 100 Mana 140/120/100 second cooldown Xavier and Kaarla combine their strength instantly casting both The Protectors Gift and The Darkin Curse and gaining the benefits of both Xavier and Kaarla on all abilities for 10/14/18 seconds. When this effect ends whoever was not in control when this was cast will gain control but will not trigger The Darkin Pact Random Notes: Xavier is meant to protect his allies and benefits greatly being closer to allies where as Kaarla is a lot more aggressive and able to stick to her targets in order to assist allies in killing stuff. I didn't want to give them a whole lot of mobility and instead gave them a lot of utility/control. Aswell as hoping an AP Tanky build is how they play out.
