Lore: Ayna was there when Ionia fell, a blood red sky, a scorched battlefield. Despite being taught and raised into a prodigal mirror mage, her strength was not enough to save her home. Worse yet, the presence of the now leader of Noxux, Swain, drew forth the darkness from the depths of hell, including the mirror demon Myfyrio. Ayna was possessed by the demon, unable to act untill months later she was able to free herself from his grasp. Even now, the two are in a constant struggle for control and neither one is willing to let go.

Ayna - Friends: Irelia Karma Enemies: Swain & "Myfyrio"

Myfyro - Friends: Swain Nocturne Enemies: "Ayna"

Note: Ayna can only be played in draft pick and can not be picked last. Myfyrio can only be played if Ayna is already on the opposing team and can not be banned.

Abilities: Ayna (All stats shown below are base stats, the ability upgrades are not included. Base Health is 600)

  • Ayna is ranged.

Passive: Magical Prodigy: Spell power is increased by 40% and CDR by 10% (exceeding the CDR limit). While hosting Myfyrio, these bonuses are disabled. Ayna also has a higher than normal base mana pool (850)(Also increases at a higher rate) but Myfyrio's abilities use her mana pool also. Myfyrio cannot move or attack, wherever you go, he goes.

**Q: **Mirror Rift: (3 charges, 6s charge cd, 40 mana) Your next attack is instant and places a mirror rift on the target. Whenever you use an ability, all your active mirror rifts connect briefly with rays of light dealing 50 magic damage to enemies marked or caught in the crossfire.

W: Mirror dance: (12s cd) (60 mana) Dash a short distance (flash range). If you hit a target marked by mirror rift, the cooldown of mirror dance is halved. While mirror dance is on cooldown, you can reactivate mirror dance to teleport behind a marked target once.

**E: **Shimmer: Gain the unstoppable status for 2 seconds. This does not work against Myfyrio

R: Shatter: Reality breaks around you as up to 12 mirror rifts are placed on all enemies in a large area around you. all allies and enemies are incapable of leaving this area for 6 seconds.

Abilities: Ayna (when possessed)

Q: Psychic Scream: (5s cooldown) Slow Myfyrio's attack and movement speed by 20% for 1.5 seconds W: "Nothing" E: "Nothing" R: Break Free: (initial cooldown determined by Myfyrio's ultimate) Regain control from Myfyrio, resetting all ability cooldowns and casting Myfyrio out for 15s, activating your passive for the duration.

Abilities: Myfyrio

Passive: Demonic Possession: Myfyrio is invulnerable and permanently attached to Ayna (Although on opposing teams). Myfyrio can use the enemy shop as his own. When Possessing Ayna, he gains her items in addition to his (up to 12). When casting abilities, you use Ayna's mana pool. If Ayna dies, Myfyrio also follows but does not give any gold or experience. (Does if he dies during "Hostile Takeover")

Q: Demonic Blast: (2 charges, 3s Charge cooldown, 30 mana) deal 70 magic damage to enemies in a large cone (excluding Ayna) minions killed grant 1 stack of anguish (champions give 5)

W: Crush Will: (12s cooldown, 80 mana) Deal 80 magic damage to an enemy champion over 2 seconds and slow them by 60% for the duration. Any damage they takes during this time grants 1 stack of anguish, if the target is not Ayna, grant 2 stacks of anguish instead.

E: Dark Symphony: (20s cooldown, 80 mana) Release 3 waves of energy dealing 30 magic damage each, the first blinds, the second silences, the third roots enemies caught for 0.3s (including Ayna)

R: Hostile Takeover: After 1.5 seconds, Consume all your stacks of agony to Completely take over Ayna, gaining control of her abilites, movement and items. The duration is increased by 0.3 seconds for each stack of agony consumed. If you die during this time, Ayna regains control with full health and mana. Once Ayna regains control all her ability cooldowns are reset and you are cast out of her for 15 seconds, activating her passive.

Note: This idea sort of popped in my head one day, what if there were two champions in one, but both on opposite teams. Worth noting it is possible to not pick Myfyrio but that is ill advised since Ayna in my oppinion would be rather overpowered without him xd. The two are meant to be played together and Myfyrio is supposed to be a constant hindrance to Ayna's team, even when not directly possessing her. In lane, Myfyrio will always be against her, hopefully his kit will still permit him to get CS despite not having a basic attack or control of his own movements. Key timing on Myfyrio's ult can be crucial to win a team fight or be the reason you lost it. Timing is key. Thoughts?

Hey there! Chubby here with some insight on your character! May I start by saying this is actually a fresh idea and concept? As a follow up, and not to lead you on, I do feel like this concept is going to need to be heavily worked on if we were to ever consider it viable for game play in today's meta. While the idea of two champions in one may see new and unique if we look at at the Darkin archetype in the League of Legends universe we quickly notice a theme: that there are actually +2 characters inhabiting the same body. What you propose goes even deeper than sharing a body, what you propose is two bodies literally combining into one during actual game play (now that's a new concept), but not without some drawback. For starters in order to achieve this vision of yours, both Ayna and Myfyrio need to be in the same game, and while that may seem probable... it's hardly the reality. Upon release, Riot's first ever (official) duo, Xayah and Rakan, saw a lot of common games but as the meta progressed and they began to shift around their numbers they saw less and less game plays with patch 9.23 seeing only 2,485 games played together. Compared to the hundrends of thousands of games that Riot hosts a day... this is a very small fraction. I'm not saying that your champion concept will 100% follow the same path, but you'll have to be prepared to face the fact that this is a possibility. Aside from that small detail, we face an even bigger bump on the road and that's what every team DREADS in a match made game... AFKers!! That's right, the fact that Myfyrio literally goes wherever Ayna goes means that if Ayna were to AFK, it removes the Myfyrio player from the game state and that SUCKS bro!!

Could you imagine queing up just to go into a game and you're forced to AFK with Ayna?! XD LMAO! I can already see the community uproar! People already hate this game as it is, we can't walk into Riot corporate head quarters and pitch them this idea as it's written, but I do see potential. For starters, there are plenty of rivals in League of Legends! Jinx vs Vi, Jinx vs Caitlyn, Jayce vs Viktor, Volibear vs Zilean (yeah I know it's weird but it's an actual thing), Graves vs Twisted Fate, Quinn vs Talon, Swain vs Literally any Demacian champion, and the list goes on and on! Lore has been a huge driving factor for the development of a lot of the most recent champions and I feel like that's the avenue that we have to explore in order to save your character designs! Let me explain!

You've essentially created two champions and made an in-game mechanic tie them together. Any other reviewer would tell you that you basically took the lazy way out of, but not me, for I am no ordinary reviewer- I am Chubby Platypus! Let me give it to you straight. There is no reason to tie these two champions together in game, at least not in the way that you've proposed. The way it's written, Myfyrio is literally a HARD counter to Ayna, so why would anyone want to play Ayna?! Lol, do you see what I'm trying to say? It's ok for two champions to have minor call-outs to one another in game (take Rengar and Khazix for example who fights for an extra ability upgrade), but what you're asking for is something that would require WAY too much for Riot to balance and I'll be honest... you don't need that! You're idea is good! It can be improved, but it's by no means bad! Here is what I propose and I'll actually be doing this review in 3 parts (if you'd like). Before I give any actual insight into these champions, would you be open to the idea of working out a way for these two champions to stand on their own? Ayna would be her own champion that people can pick and enjoy, and Myfyrio is a separate champion as well without having to attach? If so, then I would love to work on you on the lore and background of these two champioins to tie them together both in their stories and in their game play. Maybe we could work in a sort of trophy mechanic (similar to Rengar vs Khazix) in which they fight for the half of the mirror that the other has? Something along the lines of a potential stat boost or access to something bigger once they defeat the opposing force. Of course this is just a thought! But I'll be honest with you... having one champion attach to the other without being able to detach would be a death sentence if the other play decided to troll or AFK especially if they're on the opposing team and that's not fun. :(

Let me know what you think! Merry Christmas!
