If Aatrox is ever reworked...
I feel like he should be made to better fit his lore. His lore describes a being with no natural life span, who wanders from place to place affecting the outcomes of wars and battles as he sees fit, mostly by somehow inspiring those around him with a sort of blood lust all while holding his own against many with ease. Right now his theme as a health resource diving fighter who only cares for himself doesn't really fit this. The health resource makes him want to avoid using his abilities because of their cost and his lack of instant health regain, otherwise he'll die once he tries to dive. On top of that, he makes no impact on his allies themselves. If Aatrox is to get a major rework (Sion/Poppy size), I feel as though the only two abilities that should be kept are his W and his passive. The rest don't fit his theme that well, as well as are a hindrance on himself. As for what the abilities could be replaced with, no idea. As of right now, Aatrox is tempted to focus on basic attacking to deal damage, which makes sense with his lore of cutting down his enemies. Perhaps an ability that steals an enemy's attack speed? The only thing I think for SURE should happen, is that his ultimate should change, whether he gets a major or a very small rework. The way it functions can be very similar to how it is now, an AoE burst to enemies around Aatrox himself upon cast, but instead of being a small buff to himself, it should act as that blood lust he endows upon his (temporary) allies. It could be a very small buff to many stats, could be a percentage increase of stats or a flat increase in stats, or a focused increase on one or two stats or some other affect so it doesn't seem like he is only being a stat champion. I don't specialize in balance, so I won't try to say what would be best, just giving a general idea.
