Timing Based Champion (throw in whatever feedback or ideas)
Kind of an open discussion on ideas for something of a timing focused champion. Currently the closest we have to something like this is Jhin thematically and a few select abilities in the game, but nothing of someone's kit which functions very differently based upon timing abilites or actions. Feel free to throw in ideas or add to this "kit" if you could call it that.
-Charged Attack: A charged attack that like Sion's Q would charge up and do a sweeping attack across an area, but as it it charged it increases in damage and narrows in spread until it peaks in a high damage, narrow attack, then relaxes back into a sweep. Probably cast on the move. We have many charge attacks in the game but very few with an idea of setting them up to be used in the prime effective moment, they are often just charged to max, held, and eventually lost.
-Sweep/Swat/Parry: An ability that the character sweeps an attack across the front of them and intercepts/destroys projectiles like windwall, braum's shield, but with a much smaller time window. Closer to .5-.75 of a second in length. Successfully intercepting a projectile could trigger another effect, such as resetting the ability, activating a second part the the ability (like a dash), or lowering a cooldown somewhere else. -Multipurpose CC: Expanding on recent use of a dash created by Warwick which timed based upon when your opponent would use their dashes/blinks, could have an ability that functions as a basic slow or weak cc, but if cast at the proper moment before a dash or blink, could yank the target back or follow the target through.
That's about it for ideas I'd have at the moment. Some other abilities or passives to consider would be things that compliment allowing a player to time their abilities, or make them easier. Things like cc resistance, or a move speed buff for timing attacks perfectly. I feel this kind of kit would work well on a slow, deliberate character, something of a juggernaut or tank. But could still work on something of a fighter or assassin if used more as a dancer character of sorts.
