Rotating Gamemode Concept
So I was thinking about the rotating game modes and how Riot is creating new concepts and incorporating them into the gamemode eg. Starguardian and Darkstar. Here is what I'm thinking:
Summoners Race - A dark and bloody death race to the enemies demise. All summoners (5 on each team) start level 18 with 20 thousand gold (Full build max items). With a 5 minute countdown the objective is to reach the enemy nexus (A circle maybe pad or area to stand). The goal? Reach the goal and stand there for 15 seconds to take your team to victory and send your enemies to the void!
With the 5 minute count you have a rushed environment that leaves the option for sneaking and skirmishes. You can either kill your enemies with a 40 second to 49 second cooldown, take the numbers advantage and hope you can hold. Or you can draw the attention of them all and like a splitting god, back end and trust your team. The towers and minions will remain for vision and pressure purposes. Basically, you can hold and have a chance if say 2 get taken down early resulting in a 5 v 3 advantage.
15 seconds means at least 1 of your team on it for 15. You can trade securing role but at least one must stay on. I also think it is necessary to add banning champions in champ select to this but even all random works.
For example, Tahm and Olaf duo both flash ghost. Olaf ultimate and Tahm ultimate gives a significant advantage. Although counter-picks exist, overall the banning allows a team of 5 to completely dominate the concept.
This is a race. Each race is 5 minutes with a max of 3 races! (Best of 3).
Let me know what you guys think, I honestly cant get the idea out of my head and gamemodes like this would be ridiculously fun!|
PS. Any ideas to add would be cool; What would be better: Banning, Blind, All Random, or specific champs (Like Blood Moon)?
