Short Lore

The rain blew in the wind, coating the forgotten city in a watery grave. The young man stumbled through the fog, trying to find his footing. This was the place, he knew it. The place he had been looking for, where there is said to be a great evil lurking somewhere within. His feet trudged through the shallow water, soaking his shoes and the bottom of his pants legs. This is the only chance we have... he kept reminding himself. As he traversed the city, he saw the tower of which the stories had told. It was old, weathered, and looked eerie in the nighttime rain. He slowly pushed open the large doors, to which he was greeted by an empty room with a singular spiral stair case at the other end. He made his way over to the staircase and looked up its winding stones. He could not see where it ended, but he had already come this far, and he wasn't going to turn back now. As he ascended the staircase, he heard a faint whispering, but it wasn't from within the tower. It was inside of his head. The voice beckoned to him, edging him forward. "I can sense why you've come..." the voice rang through his head. "I can offer you what you seek... You need only to do as I tell..." The man held his temple in his hand. The voice caused him to have a slight headache. Still, he trudged up the stairs. Whether it was of his own free will or not, he did not know anymore. As he reached the top of the steps, he saw the room was almost completely empty. The only thing there was a large shield that had an evil aura around it. "Pick up the shield..." the voice returned, "...and let me in... let me take over and grant you your wishes..."* Reluctantly, the man slowly moved towards the shield. He could its presence getting stronger the closer he got. He inspected its design closely. It was shaped like no shield he had seen before. Its edges were somewhat jagged, and it held a strange sort of insignia on the front. "If I pick up this shield, you will help save my village? You'll give those bastard raiders what they deserve?" the man spoke aloud, though the voice was within himself. "Yes... you need only to let me in... let me take charge and show you the power I wield..." the voice echoed inside his head. The man slowly grabbed the shield, picking it up. He instantly felt a surge of raw power course through his body. However, it did not end there. The Darkin within the shield quickly overcame the man's will, and he was finally free. "The time has finally come. I can once again join the others." he laughed, echoing throughout the tower, and out into the forgotten city.

Description

Vorgaan is a rather large Darkin, similar in build to Rhaast. He has a singular "horn" that extrudes from the center of his forehead that follows the shape of the top of his head. Around the edges of his head, he has small spikes that go straight upwards, appearing somewhat as a crown. His skin follows the Darkin's traditional red-colored flesh. He has a sort of "chest-plate" that covers the front and back of his torso and connects into a spike on either side of head. His forearms have very thick armguards on them that have small spikes that gradually become slightly larger the further up the armguard they get. His legs are covered by the pants that the traveler whose body took over. They are loosely fitting and end at his ankles. There are strands of cloth on the outer side of both legs that hang loosely. He is meant to represent the Darkin of Conquest.

##Abilities

Passive: Crusader's Bloodlust

  • Vorgaan fills up a Blood Lust meter(similar to Aatrox's Blood Well) by being within range of a minion death or upon successfully using abilities. Vorgaan gains 5 Blood Lust for every minion kill he's near and 15 Blood Lust for every successfully landed ability.
  • At maximum Blood Lust, Vorgaan's next ability is free of cost and heals Vorgaan by 3% of Vorgaan's Maximum Health (+2% Missing HP) upon cast. *Note that Stand Guard (W) does not fill the Blood Well.

Q: Bad Footing

  • Vorgaan sweeps the area in front of him in a cone, dealing 60/65/70/75/80 (+60% Bonus AD) physical damage. Enemies hit are grounded and slowed by 40% for 2 seconds.
  • Cool-down: 15/14/13/12/10 seconds
  • Cost: 40 Health
  • Range: 350 Units

W: Stand Guard

  • Vorgaan plants his shield in the ground based on the direction of the cursor, immobilizing him for the duration. While active, Vorgaan generates a large shield out of Darkin energy that blocks incoming projectile damage equivalent to 80/85/90/95/100% of Vorgaan's Armor. This ability lasts for 1.5/2/2.5/3/3.5 seconds, and can be canceled early by reactivating this ability.
  • Cool-down: 20/19/18/17/15 seconds
  • Cost: 60 Health
  • Shield Range: 500 units

E: Conqueror's Charge

  • Vorgaan charges to target location, knocking enemy units back 275 units and dealing 45/50/55/60/65 (+75% Bonus AD) physical damage. Vorgaan restores 25 (+2% Bonus Health) for each enemy champion hit with Conqueror's Charge.
  • Cool-down: 12/11/10/9/8 seconds
  • Cost: 30/35/40/45/50 Health
  • Dash Range: 650 Units

R: Siege!

  • Vorgaan shouts a fierce battle-cry, Invigorating himself and nearby allied units. While invigorated, ally units gain 25% Bonus Movement Speed and have their AD/AP increased by 15% for 5 seconds. These buffs slowly decay as time passes; movement speed decays by 5% per second and AD/AP decreases by 3% per second.
  • If Siege! is used while Blood Lust is full, Stand Guard (W) can be used while moving and knocks-up any enemies hit with the shield.
  • Cool-down: 240/200/160 seconds
  • Cost: N/A
  • Range: 700 Units

Interactions

##Play Style

Vorgaan is designed to be an aggressive support that has good defensive qualities, but is also very good for sieging objectives and initiating team fights. He requires having a team who can quickly engage and work well with knock-ups, so champions like Ivern, Shaco, Velkoz, etc. won't benefit as well as champions like Darius, Annie, Yasuo, etc.

Summoners for Vorgaan would depend on where he's played as well as match-up. Though more times than not, he should have summoner 4 / summoner 3. ##Build

The build I would recommend most for Vorgaan is something along the lines of item 3111, item 3401, item 3742, item 3190, item 3075, and then either item 3065 or item 3083 depending on whether or not more MR is needed. Note: This build is not in order of build, just the items I believe best at full build.

##Champion Interactions

Champions with their own movement buffs/team movement buffs would be both useful as well as funny to watch in unison with his ultimate. What else would be more terrifying than an ulting MasterYi running at you while being buffed by item 3142, Sivir, Kled, and Vorgaan all at once?

Before I read anything, this is probably the only champ concept name and title that I like.

Gonna update after I read the rest.Good shit so far.

Update #1 : W- Kinda the same thing like Yasuo's W.Nothing to add.

R-Numbers and duration too strong.I'd reduce the numbers or make them fall off during the duration.Like 1% per .5 sec or 2% per sec.

The rest is fine Imo.

I like this concept. One thing that I would immediately say - give him a crown to match the horsemen of the apocalypse thing.

P - Seems a bit weak, maybe buff the stat increases or raise the charges gained off minions.

Q - Seems good, counters tristana with the ground. Would fill a decent niche with just this ability.

W - scaling is confusing. Say at Max rank w and he had 100 armor (50% reduction) would He block 50% of damage? Anyways, seems like a good ability, wouldn't be to similar to braum depending on the width of the shield.

E - good ability, rewards good positioning as it allows a knock into your team.

R - A very powerful support ability, would be very useful, possibly to much. I would say it should affect Vorgaan himself so he would be somewhat viable in a solo lane.

I would recommend that he used HP to cast his abilities as a darkin (Kayn isn't all darkin, same with Varus, so they get away with it) with the passive being a blood well that filled with ability casts as well as/instead of unit deaths. He would have to have some way to heal himself though.

Overall, a good concept for a darkin support! :D You should enter it in the CCOS if you want to see what a lot of other people think!
