Grievances about some champions
I play league a few times a day, and every game, I always meet a champ that has some form of imbalance to them that Riot either is not willing to delve into because its part of that champion's "identity".
I'll make a short list here of some champs i currently see as unbalanced as a whole, no matter the nerfs you can do to them
Riven Now here's clean cut champ that was broken from the ground up. here's my list of grievances
- *No cost to any abilities
- *no resource she must expand or build to use abilities
- *ridiculously short cooldowns on all abilities
- *incredibly high ability scaling
- *the range and size of her ultimate are almost impossible to run away from and the damage might just oneshot some people if she has a slight level advantage over her target
- *ridiculous amounts of mobility, like, disgusting amounts of it
- *an AD scaling shield. it could have been HP scaling, but no, its AD, of all things, and the bonus AD she gets from her total AD on her ult goes RIGHT on that shield when she is in ult form
how do i suggest fixing this? very simple in fact. Give her Energy and increase her cooldowns a tad bit as well as reducing her AD scaling over the board and she becomes so much more manageable. this will separate the button mash riven players and those who actually know how to play her. Mana would put shackles on her, making her choke out of mana in the middle of a combo, but energy and the way it works is fitting for how she is meant to be played and thematic because of how she is related to Ionia, where a lot of champs have energy as a resource.
Yasuo Now i only have two complaints on him and its all about his passive *a attack shield that refills on movement *Double critical rate
How do we fix this? very simple, yet again. Make his flow build off of successful attacks against champions. 5 successful strikes or damaging spells used against champions would give him full flow and enable his attack shield on the next attack against him. The concept is similar to Pantheon's own attack shield, where he has to build his stack to get it or innitiate on an enemy to receive it, risk and reward mechanic.
As for the crit, just make it that instead of receiving double crit rate from every source, make it that he receives 50% more crit rate from items only. this would prevent players who use full crit page to start with a ridiculous 40% crit chance. obviously not everyone starts full crit yasuo since its not the most optimal thing, but it would matchups to be utterly one sided. so instead of having yasuo needing to build 50% crit for 100% crit, they'd need a bit more, not a math wizard, but i think 75% to achieve 100% is a lot more reasonable
Darius only a single grievance on him and its on his ultimate *True damage ultimate
make the damage on his ultimate physical damage as standard and true damage against targets with full stack of his Hemorrhage, fits with his new rework too!
