Beginning of Champion Reworks who Don't Meet There Theme. (Starting with the BlitzCrank)
Seems alot of older champions don't really meet their theme. Xin Zhao for example is supposed to be a gladiator who can fight multiple people at once. Blitzcrank, the great steam golem doesn't fit the Great Steam Golem theme really. I think they could use a rework to give them, and others like them more counterplay, make them more intersting, and meet up their theme requirements better. So to start off what will be a chain of these posts, I will start the first Rework with the Crank Golem.
For BC (Blitzcrank), I feel he is unhealthy as he only has to land 1/20 hooks and he gets a kill or bursts the ADC's summs. If neither of these happens he/his ADC screwed up, hes behind, or the enemy saved the hooked ally. He also can't help his adc that much without getting in low range himself.
Passive: Powered By Steam: Once Blitzcrank loses 75% of his max health, he leaks a huge amount of steam. As he walks he leaves a trail of steam, slowing enemies who walk through.
Q: Rocket Grab/Pressurized Punch: BC charges for 1.3 seconds, then fires out his hand, dealing damage and pulling the target to him. His next basic attack also is pressurized by steam, dealing bonus damage and knocking the target up. (Combining his Q and W to compensate for the charge up nerf. The charge is so you have more counterplay but just dodging.)
W: OverDrive: Blitzcrank gains a burst of movement speed that decays over 2.3 seconds. When the Movement Speed bonus is gone, he will be slowed for 2 seconds. If Blitzcrank lands Rocket Grab succesfully, Pressurized Punch successfully, or activates PressureBuildUp, the slow is cut in half for duration and the slow is only .75 times as potent.
E: Mana Sparks: Passively BC gains a sheild based on the percent of current mana. This sheild will not decay. If BC's sheild is destroyed, it will not regenerate for 10/9/8/8/7 seconds. As the sheild persists, lightning strikes random nearby targets dealing damage based on how strong the sheild is. The Sheild scales off health. Active: BC destroys his current sheild to send out 3 mana sparks that scale with the sheild and deal damage to nearby non-champions. The sparks will arc off to nearby minions/monsters up to 3 times. While this active is on CD, the passive is gone. The bolts will prioritize enemy champions but won't damage them, will silence them for .75 seconds, and doesn't affect targets recently hit by Rocket Grab at all.
R: Great SteamPunk Golem: Passive: Overtime, steam creates pressure inside BC. His basic attacks will deal 20/30/35/40 bonus true damage when he is pressurized and he gains bonus armor and magic resist. Activate: If BC activates, he releases a huge cloud of steam, creating an AoE zone that stealths allies inside. He loses the passive while this is on CD. If an ally attacks a target outside of the steam cloud while they are in the cloud themselves, it will miss. If an enemy enters the cloud, they can see all units inside and allies can attack them without missing. The cloud lasts foe 2 seconds.
Hopefully with this kit, Blitzcrank fits his theme more and would be more fun and cool. I tried to keep current blitzcrank and make it so a hook=kill or summoners on most occasions. I also tried to make it so he could peel for his adc someonewhat. His ult is also now more defensive as allies can't use the stealth and basic attack.
ALL critisim is helpfull. Xin Zhao, Galio, Urgot, Irelia, Sona, or Kennen (Making him less ult reliant). This rework/update was kinda big but I tried to keep Blitz his qualities. Maybe he has too much going on, idk. Please comment cuz I need the help!
