Game mode concept: ultimate random fighters(urf 2, lol)
The whole idea behind this game mode is for everything to be as random as possible. We have something similar (aram) but there are some BIG differences with this game mode. Out of all champions (even champions that you don't own and aren't on the free rotation) you will be given the base stats of one(which will also be the one you look like/ the skin you'll use) passive of another, and each ability from a different champion (champions you have a higher mastery on have a higher percentage chance to be picked for one, but not by a huge amount. It'll be rare to get a champion you have never played). It will show you what you got in the runes and masteries screen by having representing then in this manner:
(Indention)
passive
(Indention)
Q
base stat and skin
W
(Indention)
E
(Indention)
R
Of course the style of it will be a little different, but you get the idea. abilities that you cannot get are abilities that require another specific ability. This is because you can only get one piece from one champion, meaning you can't have two abilities from one champion, or an ability and a passive, or anything like that.(any secondary passives like xayah and rakan's recall or the hunt for rengar or kha'zix go with the base stats). Also abilities that you don't have resources for(I.e. you can't get zed's W on maokai, or yorick's Q on garen)
At this point most of you must be think "create, your crazy. There's no way this would be balanced and whoever got the luckiest wins." To which I reply "I may be crazy, but there is most certainly more than luck needed to win" you need to know each character's kits well to be able to make decent combos.
You think the randomness is over? Well it is NOT. after you've made your runes, masteries, and chose your spells, you get into the game and the ITEMS ARE RANDOM. Let me explain the system: you have six locked item slots(you can't fill them) at levels 1,4,7,10,13, and 16 you get a random item in one of the locked slots. This item can be upgraded to a better item like in a regular game, but it cannot be sold. If you get cloth armor and upgrade it to a sun fire cape then try to sell it, it will sell it and but you the cloth armor back immediately. However, if you were to get a ruby crystal and a long sword as your first two unlocked items, building them into a phage will give you an open slot to put any item you want. Getting items like a black cleaver are lucky and unlucky. Items that can be built from other items are less likely to be picked, but the random items are free which can be really good, but if a fully built item is randomly selected for you and nothing in your kit scales well with it, it can be a nightmare. While you do need luck on your side, being well knowledged in your scalings, items and abilities effects can make even an unlucky pick be really good.
Even though for the most part it is random, there are still ways in which you control how the game goes. With the champion kits, you are more likely to get champions you are very good with or at least you understand, and still get to pick your runes masteries and spells. In game you are more likely you get small items which you have freedom to build into items better suited for your kit. This game mode will be on the regular three lane summoner's rift. Another interesting thing will be deciding who should play what role, only people with smite can randomly get smite items and it will never give you more than one jungler or support item. Any item restrictions still apply in this game mode.
Now that you know the game mode, tell me what you think! If you were to play this, what kit do you want the fortune of getting?
