I Love This Game, and I Love These People (originally posted on /r/leagueoflegends)

Hey guys, I'm Matt (DownloadSomeRAM) and I'm posting right now from a position I never thought I'd be in. For the past two months, a friend and I have been working on a YouTube channel obsessively, titled F for Flash . At first it was something we didn't take seriously, until we received some fantastic feedback from smaller League subreddits. We knew at that point that we were on to something, and have been pumping out videos ever since. In the last month, we've stopped working our usual jobs to focus all of our energy on the channel before we head back to college in the middle of next month. Recently, however, we've run into some pretty large obstacles that we were ill-prepared for to say the least. I love this game, and I love this community (even though it has its moments) and I can't possibly imagine giving up on this channel because of an obstacle in our private lives. As it stands, however, we may not have a choice in the matter, seeing as our channel is simply not large enough to sustain any kind of regular viewership, and that is why I'm here. Now I'm normally the one to brush off people promoting their channels as another iteration of the "check out my mixtape" mentality, but now I understand what drives them so fiercely. We are out of options and are simply not able to justify giving up on our one way of giving back to this incredible community, and it is because of that, we decided to come to the largest League subreddit in existence and humbly ask for your support. It would mean the absolute world to us if you could help us realize our full potential by checking us out, even if it is only for a few moments. If you feel so inclined, then it would help us out the most if you were able to subscribe to our channel, but by no means does this mean you have to. If you dislike our content, then please let us know so we can push on and improve for you.
