Animated Elo Borders?

Plat doesn't look that appealing being some weird mix of green/light blue for example. What not have gold shine somewhat (in a pulsing fashion,) platinum exhibit some color shift around the green -> silver spectrum, and diamond resonate color changes (like real polished jewelery)? It's a nice touch to reaching those higher elos. Of course include a disable feature for those with lower-end PCs, though I doubt it'd put any noticeable strain on their CPU. Similar concept can be applied to Master and Challenger tier of course. Thoughts?
