Alluah, the hextech essence trapper (mage jungler concept)
Stats: Melee mage, meant to not be super tanky or bursty but have some ap dps (she should rely on ap scalings do really do damage). She is supposed to be a control jungler that is not good at ganking but great at objective control. Her core weaknesses is that she is not very mobile (she should have a relative slow movement speed as well) and has to set up to be strong at specific areas of the map (fill up her essence bar and set up her traps), but once she does she will be very strong on that area
P: Hextech Syphon Blade >
- > Alluah has a magic essence bar instead of mana. This bar fills up whenever she deals damage with her Q or E.
- > Alluah’s basic attacks deal bonus 20%-60% based on the amount of essence she has stored (numbers can be changed for balance, this is just to exemplify)
Q: Essence Steal/ Essence Blast >
- > Essence Steal: Alluah tethers to the target (like karma would), doing damage over time for up to 3-6 seconds (you can recast q to break the tether early). She can move while tethered but not auto attack. I think it a would thematic tie to have 5% of the damage dealt deducted from enemy champions resource bar, but maybe it would be to op and make her viable in mid lane so I’m not sure it would work. >
- > Essence Blast: Can be casted while essence steal is on cooldown. It works by holding the Q botton (like Vlad’s e works) to start consuming Alluah’s essence bar to throw a cone skillshot in target direction. The collision works like kled’s pocket pistol but the width, distance and damage is based on the amount of essence consumed. The skill shot also increasingly slows and at a point knockbacks targets based on the amount of essence consumed. If essence blast is casted, there is a 3 second buffer to whatever the reminder of essence steal cd was prior to the cast.
W: Flash grenade > * >Alluah lobs a grenade in target direction that bounces one time (target system works like ziggs Q. after stopping the grenade stays put for 1.5 seconds and then detonates in a large area, nearsighting all enemies struck for 1.75 seconds. The skillshot cannot go over terrain and will stop if colliding with it. It has a cd relative to ekko’s w. After being struck, enemies are also slowed by 30%/35/40/45/50 for .25 seconds
E: essences trap (3 charges with long cd to recharge)
> Essence trap: Alluah throws a trap (targeting works like jhin’s e except that the ability can be self-cast and casted on allies) When thrown on the ground, for 2 seconds you can cast e again to have it detonate early. If not detonated, after 2 seconds the trap becomes stealthed until triggered and, when stepped on by an enemy, it shows itself with some vfx and after .75 second it explodes on a radius dealing damage over time for 1.5 seconds and giving vision of its damage radius. Alluah gains essence if she is close enough to the trap when it deals damage. Her traps when casted on the ground have to 2 ward health points and because it takes 2 seconds for the traps to become stealthed enemy champions can destroy them before they become hidden or use red trinket/ pink to do so. The traps will also be visible even when placed on brushes before the 2 second elapse. > >* >If casted on an ally the ability will consume essence to create a small shield that scales with ap and lasts for up to 2 seconds or until it breaks by damage. If the shield lasts the 2 seconds, when it expires it deals aoe damage at a very close range from where the ally is located (around 125 units from the target’s model edge) for 1.5 seconds and if alluah is nearby she gains essence.
R: Hextech Beast Trap( Ability unlocked from lvl 1) >**Rank 1: **
>Marks target jungle camp (grump/ wolves/raptors or krugs) and the ability goes on a 40 second cd. If the camp is killed by an ally within the next 5 seconds, alluah captures the entire magic essence of the monster camp. She can then recast the ability at a target location by spending half her total essence reservoir to throw a device that summons the camp (a ghost/ magic essence version of it) that will guard the area where it was summoned. If the ability comes back up again before alluah recasts it the “monster charge is lost and she cast to remark a camp to summon it.
>Camp traits:
- >These camps only attack nearby enemy champions or “aggroed” jungle monsters, not minions.
- >If they stray too far away from their summon spot they go back to it, but only regain a small fraction of health.
- >They expire after a time (or when killed), 10/15/20 seconds.
- >The camps deal magic damage and their attack and health scale a portion of alluah’s ap. Each camp has specific damage and health scalings.
- >The camps ignore until collision.
- >The same camp cannot be marked until 2 and a half minutes pass, only if it was summoned after marked (alluah could be killed before getting to summon the camp, etc)
>Rank 2:Alluah unlock the ability to mark epic jungle camps (red/blue/dragon and rift herald)
>All the capture constraints work the same as when capturing smaller camps, except that the ability goes on a minute cd instead of 40 seconds. When an epic monster is captured, Alluah can recast the ability to consume half of her total essence reservoir (so she at least needs to be at half capacity to cast the ability) and ride the monster she has captured!
>State change traits:
- >For gameplay terms Alluah becomes the epic monster. But she is shown riding on top of it.
- >The monster textures become transparent like (with magical vfx). To interact with Alluah (attack or cast spells on her) players would target her actual model (the monster’s model is untargetable).
- >Alluah ignores until collision while riding, but her movement speed bonuses are reduced and her attack speed is fixed at that of the actual monster that was captured.
- >Allauh gains different stats based on which monster she is raiding which scale of her ap: blue gives her more tanky stats, red gives her more offensive stats, dragon gives her great attack and good tanky stats and range, rift gives her good offensive stats and great tanky stats.
- >The duration of the monster lasts until alluah cancels the ability, she is killed or 45 seconds pass.
- >While riding she gains a small range increase in all her basic abilities, but her essence level no longer affects her ap scalings on attack damage.
- >While riding she is able to auto attack while tethered from essence steal.
- >She can press R to dismount early and put the ult on cd to use again later. Dismounting works like kled, except that she can be killed while mounted and has a special death animation for it. Dismounting “kills” the monster and makes it banish. While dismounting her health transformation works the same as mega/mini gnar does.
>Rank 3 increases the duration and/or stats gained while summoning/ riding monsters and reduces the abilities cd.
Concept Aids: She is in her mid 20's, original from Bildgewater and a member of Illaoi's people. She moved to Piltover because she wanted to make a living for herself and escape from that ruined town. She ended up becoming an apprentice of Jayce, and created the hextech syphon blade, which she used to capture magic essence from beasts which she then sells to send money back home. She is a good person at her core so she also helps people from time to time.
She is colored of skin like illaoi, but she is lean. Wears a hat, googles, and and engineering outfit. She aslo has short hair and an eddy, rebellious but good willed personality . For her blade immagine the poltegust 3000 from luigis mansion but with a gauss coil in the actual vaccum sucker and an electric blade at one side of it. Obviously the entire thing would not look as cartoonish and have a cooler design than luigi's vacumm does. For the hextech trap imagine something out of ghost busters.
