Some legends suggest that, when they first emerged into the Runeterran air, the Voidborn were generally pale, fibrous and flexible. As they aged, sections of their forms harden into a darker, shell-like chitin, which can become strong enough to turn aside almost any weapon.

Please note that I’m awful with coming up names, so I’ll take all suggestions into consideration.

Lore: Millions of years ago, before the creation of Runeterra, the Void was the emperor of the universe. Its monstrous soldiers were sent to every corner of the world, claiming the dominance of their Empire. But what is the Void? Some say it is a world in another dimension; others suggest it is a beast of unimaginable size. These guesses only scratch the surface of the magnificence of this prehistoric land. One of its greatest and first creation, a voidborn known as Lax’rah, has defended the Void for millenia. It has battled countless Aspects, and it always comes out unscathed. Now that the Void is seeking control over the land holding the most powerful tools, the World Runes, the Targons must summon their creator to confront this unstoppable force.

A war between Aspects and the voldborns will soon begin...

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Passives: Hardened Skin: After ages of revolution, Lax’rah has skins that can be compared to the finest armor. Upon reaching specific health%, Lax’rah gains bonus defensive stats 75% hp = 5-15% damage reduction for 2 seconds —–––––––––-––--––––- 40 second cd 50% hp = 15-30% damage reduction for 1.5 seconds —––––––––––––––-- 55 second cd 25% hp = 30-60% damage reduction for 1 second —––––––––––––––--––- 60 second cd 5% hp = Lax’rah becomes untargetable, and gains 40% movement speed - 120 second cd The bonus effects for 5% is kept until he dies or goes above 5%, and then the cd will start

Endless Agony: Lax’rah is haunted by the voices of the Void, and using abilities having to do with the Void will increase his fury. He gains 1 fury every second from auto attacking or moving. Upon reaching 100 fury, Lax’rah's abilities will be enhanced for 3/4/5 (level 1/7/13) seconds. After it ends, Lax’rah will begin with 0 fury again. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Q: Escape/Hunt(sounds awful I know): Cooldown: 30/28/26/24/22|| Cost: 30/40/50/60/70 health|| - 10 fury first cast|| + 15 fury second cast

Escape: Lax’rah cancels all momentum (so he can stop half way in blitz’s hook) and leaps toward a direction to up to 600 units; he can only cast Hunt during Escape. If Lax’rah does not cast Hunt, his next ability will do 20/40/60/80/100 (+35% AP) bonus magic damage.

Hunt: Lax’rah can change his leap (remember, this can only be casted during the first cast) toward any direction and go further for 350 units. If Lax’rah collide with any champion, large monster, or epic monster, he will deal 30/40/50/60/70 (+15% of his bonus hp)(+90% bonus AD)(+60% AP) physical damage and stop (even if he didn’t finish the 350 range)

Endless Agony: If Lax’rah does not cast Hunt, his next ability will burn for 20/35/50/65/80 (+ 35% AP) magic damage over 3 seconds in addition to the bonus magic damage.

Note: This is directional, not targeted, so in theory it can be dodged. It can leap through walls, but Lax’rah’s location will be revealed when he aims it at an enemy (so no fog of war, unlike Camlie’s e) First cast can be casted like a normal leap, but it can also be casted even if Lax'rah is hooked/airborn Second cast must be casted during the first cast (so during the leap). ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ W: Fire of fear: Cooldown: 16/14/12/10/8|| Cost: 5% maximum hp|| + 10 fury

Passive: Emperor’s Presence: all enemy/neutral units within 650 units of Lax’rah will take magic damage equal to 0.8/1/1.2/1.4/1.6% of Lax’rah’s AP every second

Active: Lax’rah summons a fire from the Void and throws it toward a direction for 1200 units. It’s hitbox increases from 50-125 depending on how far it traveled. After collision with any unit, it explodes , dealing 60/80/100/120/145 (+25% bonus AD)(+45% AP) magic damage to units within 150 radius over 3 seconds and mark them for 3 seconds. Marked units will receive 10% increased damage from Lax’rah. The damage of the burn from Lax’rah’s q and e will be increased by 40% if it was applied before the ignition. The burn(s) will also be refreshed.

Endless Agony: The exploding radius will be increased to 225, and Lax’rah will gain a shield equal to 0/20/40/60/80 (+50% bonus AD)(+8% maximum hp)(+30% AP).

Note: This passive will not invoke any agro. It won’t be applied to jungle camps unless they are already triggered. The active is also a slow (morg’s q’s speed) skill shot, so it is best used on minions during laning phase thanks to its explosion radius. If this ability is used to trigger the burn from Escape/Hunt, the burn will still do 40% increased damage.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ E: Ultimate Emperor: Cooldown: 30/28/26/24/22|| Cost: 150 health|| + 20 fury

Passive: Lax'rah will gain 15% damage reduction for damage that deals more than 45% of his maximum health

Active: Lax'rah covers his skin/armor in fire of the void for 2.5/3.5/4 seconds, slowing all units that damage him by 15/20/25% for 2 seconds and remove all type of cc at the end of the duration. He will also heal for 0(+10% current health)(+30% of physical damage taken in the last 2.5 - 4 seconds)(+30% of magical damage taken in the last 2.5 - 4 seconds) at the end of the duration.

Endless Agony: Units that damage him each time for less than 35% of his maximum health will also be burned for 15(+10% AP) for 2 seconds, can be stacked infinitely. If the burn from his q is applied before the end of this burn, this will share the duration of q's burn (meaning it will burn 3 more seconds).

Additional Note for active (didn't want to make it too long):

  • Lax'rah cannot take damage from lesser units (all non-champion units), but the damage they dealt will still be added to the heal.
  • This can be silenced, but cc's will still be removed after 2 seconds.

Note: Passive is meant to be anti-assassin. Endless Agony is meant to be anti-adc and mage.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ R: Curse From the Void: Cooldown: 280/250/220|| Cost: 25% current health

Passive: Void’s Emperor’s cooldown will be decreased by 20/30/40 second everytime Lax’rah gets a takedown.

Active: For the next 5/6/7 seconds, Lax'rah will be covered in fire, burning himself for 4% of his current health each second. He gains 30/40/50% damage reduction, and taking damage will decrease all his basic abilites cooldown by 0.1/0.2/0.3 second. He is also granted 15/20/25% cdr and 70/80/90 movement speed as long as he is in combat (or until the duration ends).

Endless Agony: If this ability is cast when Lax’rah’s hp is lower than 45/55/65% and his fury is above 80, Lax’rah will gain 15% increased total AD, 40% AS, and 15 armor/mr for every ally within 700 range of you

Note: You will want to trigger Endless Agony if you built AD, but for AP builds, it doesn't really matter.

I really don't see where Sol would side with the Void.

True, he says that he'd watch the world burn to catch Targon in the flames...but his actual purpose in life is creation, where the Void's is to devour all. Just a quick lore disagreement.

Aside from that...where to begin here...

  • firstly, your Q was obviously Jump/Turn at one point. :P It'll get confusing to people if you leave it alone.

  • I sort of feel like this guy has too much going for him passively in this iteration. I like how his "armor" works in layers, but that in itself is more than enough to make him an extremely competent and potentially obnoxious bruiser. Giving him the Frenzy bonus on top of this means he's going to disintegrate people when building full AD while his initial passive gives him the means to build full AD without being too scared of dying before taking at least a couple of high priority targets out of the fight. Additionally, he will be able to Frenzy far too often because his fury will build faster than almost any other fury based champion, with the exception of maybe 100% crit tryndamere, so I'll imagine he'd likely be really oppressive in lane since he has such a strong passive. The passive on his W on its own is laughably weak...but in conjunction with the rest of his passives still adds to that oppression factor. I could say the same with the CDR on his R: on it's own, it's pretty much completely irrelevant, but in conjunction with his other 3 passives, only adds to the danger you can bring to the enemy team. Still, at a max of 45% CDR (putting your rank 3 ult at around 160s) and a max of 50s off (from an ace) you're still down to about 110s, which means there is 0% chance you're going to be using it multiple times in a fight, and you might not have it back before the next one depending on the state of the game.

  • The empowered ability of his ult is a total overclock, as well as something that breaks the current rules of the game. QSS/Mercurial are meant specifically to counter huge cc effects like this, and literally proclaiming them useless is not something healthy for the game...if you'd like an example of how breaking the rules of things completely frustrates players, look at Akali's new stealth shroud of turret dodging. Enough said.

  • While I'm also on the subject of his ult, I think the recasts are a little bit...unnecessary. I get that they're something to help his AP builds, but you can more easily deal with that by just saying "he gains 20% CDR that can break cap", which will effectively do the same thing without the need to spam an ability that's not doing anything.

Nothing too difficult to change around, I think. Definitely a solid kit...just need to tone down the frenzy mechanic mostly, maybe take a portion of that power and turn it into more Ult CDR and buff the burning on your W...though if you buff that, I'd shrink that radius to about 300 units so you have to place yourself more aggressively to use it instead of simply standing in the wave and passively zoning anyone with less than Caitlyn range.

So I'm kinda confuses... Q says that escape stops all momentum, and he can only recast after using escape... So does he have to cancel out of a pull/push to use its 2nd cast? Or can he instantly use both casts to leap? If so then you really just need to say 2nd cast, and not put in any requirements. I do like the potential to fight Yas as this champ xD

Otherwise he seems pretty okay. Definitely a situational or one-trick type champ.

So if the enemy team has no CC to displace you, then how do you cast your Q? Since you can only go airborn by 2 things in the base game, Blast Cone and Cannon. And cannon is only in special game modes. Dragon pushes you away at the starts, but not airborn. Even Thresh Q doesn't make you go airborn. I could see it working if he had a way to send himself airborn, to use it as a gap closer ability. But it is only usable against around 38 champions or so. There's about 100 champions he could face and have no Q available for. So that's my only issue. If he had a reliable way to use his Q then that'd be great.
