New concept for Baron buff, to enhance e-sports and teamfights in general
Here's my thoughts: Baron gives a buff. It's a cool one, you get stats and you can siege towers thanks to your empowered minions. But, usually, when a team is sieged, they don't really want to teamfight. There's nothing to win: it's so risky to commit in that situation, that the defending team will usually wait for an error of positioning, something like that. And this is... kinda boring. I mean, wouldn't it be nicer, if there were a way to make a comeback ? Even if, by miracle, you manage to wipe the enemy team, you're left with maybe one or two champs, and that's it. You can't push much, you can't take drake, nothing. Sucks.
I'd like to call an end to this, by reworking a bit the baron buff:
- You can now steal Baron buff.
- It can only work by acing a team with 5 baron buffs. All champions that are alive when the enemy team is aced, gets the buff.
- It doesnt work if there were 5 baron buffs, someone with a buff dies, then respawns and re-dies by being aced.
It seems a bit tough on the rules, but this is the point: the game was really fine before, and this would be a small addition to really force teams to either split, either too not commit during a big push. To give a mental edge to the defenders. It would also give more potential to an ace just after a messy baron clear. It would also give more value to clear a baron as 4 or less, because by doing that you prevent any risk of buff-stealing. And, how do you clear baron with only 4 champs alive ? Well, either Janna really wanted to take Baron's aggro, either you teamfighted before.
In both case, baron will have, and also give more value to teams that likes to make big teamfights, wether you choose to teamfight before, during, or after Baron.
