LORE Born in Piltover to a wealthy family, Wuldivir Vark was a simple lad. He planned to attend the most rewarding schools available and take advantage of the vast wealth available to him to find success in the world. However, like many notable members of society, Wuldivir's childhood was anything but pleasant. His parents were extremely abusive and constantly found his dreams to interfere with their goals for him. They only saw his aspirations as potential dents in the family's riches, and they believed Wuldivir to be anything but special. Even if he was their son, he was nothing but another child brought into the world. He would serve his purpose, retire, and then die. That was what life was to the Vark family. Live, serve your purpose, and die anything but an embarrassment to your brothers, sisters, and other various relatives. Wuldivir grew up being taught that this was the way. You respect those above you, and if you did not, you must be punished. Wuldivir's entire family were killed in an accident involving a mad chemist from Zaun that ended up poisoning and killing the entire Vark family. Wuldivir was the only member of the family who avoided such a death. Unlike what most would think a lonely child would feel like after their family was murdered, Wuldivir did not fall into a depression. He was not angry, sad, or even happy. He was an emotionless husk that only felt curiosity in his family's murder. Why were they murdered? Surely it was not simply an accident or some lunatics desire for death. No, the Vark family were far too careful to be killed that easily. Wuldivir began investigating his family's murder through the riches that were left behind for him. He ignored the authority's desire for him to stay out of the investigation as he only saw this as a puzzle that begged to be solved. With every piece he put down, he could see the next piece that he needed to place. He grew closer and closer to the answer each day. After years of investigating, Wuldivir finally arrived at the answer. The mad chemist, an alchemist known as Singed, was seeking immortality like any other alchemist. Immortality allowed for the potential of infinite knowledge and infinite possibilities, which was anything but bad for a man like Singed. It would allow him to research and torment patients for all eternity. Wuldivir discovered an artifact his family secretly held that might have helped Singed if he was not as reckless as he was with the Vark family's murder. Strangely, said artifact was not a bottle of liquid or anything like that. It was not some unknown chemical or form of magical tome. It was, in fact, a blade. The blade allowed the user to negate the effects of magic in the air around them. Whether it was magically enhanced fire, water, light, ice, darkness, blood, or air, it could be dismissed as nothing more but an insect to the blade. Apparently discovered in Shurima, such a powerful artifact would no doubt attract the attention of mercenaries. This was the reason the Wuldivir family never bothered with the artifact after it was given to them. It was far too risky to have anyone know they were or had been in possession of the blade. So, the blade was hidden away and kept for safe keeping in case it was for some reason ever needed. The source of the blade's magic negation was what likely lead Singed to murder the Vark family. It was afflicted with malefic energy from another dimension. It's properties were almost entirely unknown to those who studied such artifacts in Piltover. This dimension, known as the Void, was known for deforming and evaporating any form of magic that came into contact with an element of the arcane that floated through the dimension's "atmosphere". Magic became null and void upon entering the dimension. Wuldivir, after finally solving his family's murder, found himself drawn to the art of investigation. After spending years hunting, capturing, and torturing the criminals of Piltover and Zaun for answers, he finally found out what he wanted to do in life: investigate crime. This lead him to join Piltover's police force, using the same magic nullifying blade that had caused his family to be killed to hunt down and kill those who had defiled the law in the most atrocious of ways. Caitlyn, the head of the police force, at first found Wuldivir's methods and preferred weapon to be extremely unsettling. She denied him a position on the force due to his methods being far too cruel. Her perspective changed, however, when Jinx, a criminal from Zaun, rampaged through the streets of Piltover. This would lead Caitlyn to seek help since even her most prestigious officers could not catch the crook. Even then, Caitlyn had to question what Wuldivir could offer when hunting someone who did not use magic in anyway. However, Wuldivir had to remind Caitlyn just what magic was. Hextech technology in itself had magic seeped into it. The explosives used by Jinx: hextech. The guns she fired: hextech. The shock pistol she always used to get away with: hextech. Furthermore, Wuldivir proved himself to Caitlyn by showing her his detective skills. Caitlyn was amazed at Wuldivir's ability to accurately diagnose what had lead to someone's death or an item being stolen. Within a week, Wuldivir had cleansed the streets of criminals even Caitlyn herself had spent months trying to find. She hated to admit it, but the force needed someone like Wuldivir; someone who was cold, heartless, and wasn't distracted by their emotions when on a case. Wuldivir would eventually be put on the case to find and arrest Jinx, causing him to be partnered with Vi and Caitlyn. Caitlyn had gotten used to his emotionless personality, but Vi only found Wuldivir's lack of emotion haunting and unsettling. Even after he proved himself multiple times to allow Vi and Caitlyn to be one step ahead of Jinx, his fellow enforcer never saw him as anyone more than another officer in the force. In fact, she ended up despising him. His lack of emotions would sometimes cause him to question Vi's interrogation methods, wishing she would simply use more direct methods to get the information out of someone. Vi was already pretty direct, but Wuldivir was on a whole different level of direct. Those he interrogated were consistently released with many signs of violent beating and early signs of insanity. In just a few hours, Wuldivir could send someone's mind off the deep end. This lead him to be feared by all other officers in the force except for Vi and Caitlyn. While she didn't like to admit it either, Jinx herself didn't find any joy in toying with the new officer. In fact, despite not wanting to show it on the outside, she herself grew fearful of the man. The aura that entered the room with him sent chills up the spines of everyone nearby. Jinx found herself dreading Wuldivir more and more each month as each encounter left her closer and closer to dying to his blade. Wuldivir himself only grows more and more grim each day. Once his blade finds his way into the blue haired criminals throat, what challenge would be left for him? Who would dare disobey the law when the most notorious criminal was taken down? Who would be there to entertain Wuldivir's mind any longer and, most hauntingly, what if he found himself more interested in creating the investigations himself? Who was smart or strong enough to stop him once he himself felt that the criminals weren't enough and the outsmarting the police force was far more fun? Only time will tell what happens when Wuldivir finally cleans the streets of Piltover for good, leaving a pile of victims behind once he is done.

QUOTES Speaks in a calm, quiet, and extremely deep voice, as if to sound emotionless and unconcerned on his surroundings.
Upon Being Selected
- "I'll dissect their weaknesses. Then we can get started."
Upon Being Banned
- "I don't a minute to know that was a terrible decision."
Upon Starting the Game
- "The most worthwhile secrets are only held by those worthy of holding them."
- "All magic will be put to rest by the time this is over."
- "A splendid day for an interrogation."
- "Sometimes it takes an ounce of fear to cleanse a sea of it."
- "Let's get started before I get bored, ok?"
Moving
- "One answer leads to an infinite number of possibilities. How can you really call that an answer?"
- "We are all driven by questions. I'll show them the right answers."
- "Sometimes, you must introduce a necessary evil into the mix to shake things up."
- "What I do may be wrong, but it gets the job done in the end. How can it be wrong then?"
- "I tread on a pile of corpses left by those I hunt. Who cares if I add one more at the end?"
- "I really don't get the others. They are always so concerned with those we hunt. What they really should be concerned about is what those we hunt leave behind."
- "In the end, we all die. We live, we do what we must, and then die. I'm doing the middle bit right now."
- "I'll sleep well when it's all over. Not now."
- "What's the worth of a mind when it has shattered the minds of many?"
- "They say I'm a monster, and yet I saw a mother cry tears of joy when her husband's killer was put behind bars. What monster brings out that?"
- "I lost myself a long time ago. I'm not rebuilding myself. I'm rebuilding those who are lost with me."
- "I look at the news and see nothing but death. Perhaps once I've sliced the killer's head off his body, the world will lighten up a little."
- "I hope it's not mage again. They're so easy to shatter once they realize how useless they are against my blade."
- "Using magic is futile and I really doubt they could beat me one on one. This isn't a fist fight. It's a battle of the minds."
- "Losing your head will only lead to you losing your head. So let's not."
- "I dismiss futile moments for mercy. Mercy is for those who don't seek a real goal."
- "They say the blue haired girl is scared of me, unlike anyone else. Hmm, what does that say about the rest of the force?"
- "I doubt this will take long. I can already sense they aren't the brightest kind of crook."
- "One day, I'll have to ask one of the tougher ones what it feels like when my cold blade slices through his neck."
- "I don't think they'll find me easy prey."
- "They left a messy trail to follow."
- "I'm not sure how slaughtering a ton of monsters and tiny little hooded creatures will benefit the case, but apparently it's where the funding comes from."
- "I'm not one to take breaks to be honest. The end result is what I live for."
Attacking
- "Predictable."
- "I hope you didn't think that would help you."
- "This only gets easier by the day."
- "I think I'll start with the femur this time."
- "Boo."
- "Hope you're not a mage. It'll be too easy otherwise."
- "How unfortunate, I thought this would be more complex than this."
- "I'll be happy to report this to all of your victims."
- "Did you think you'd get away?"
- "Well this is strange, I thought you would have been smarter than to face me head on."
- "It's almost sad really. This was supposed to be a fun case."
- "Do I send chills down your spine?"
- "Surprised? I'm not to be honest with you."
- "How's it going. Could I have a word?"
- "Maybe I can't kill you, but I can make your life a living hell."
- "Minor cases of insanity are rather common when I'm around I've been told."
- "What a shame. This was my only case for the week."
Taunt
- "You're not the worst I've hunted. Trust me, it only took me a second or two to figure you out."
- "How do you feel about torture? You have a few seconds to figure out how."
- "You'll be an interesting one to pick apart. Heard you were some kind of legend or something like that."
- "Unfortunately, I don't think a couple bits of chemtech enhancement will help you recover from this."
"I can't let you do that, star dragon."
"A machine is a one dimensional mind. Go perform your usual tasks. I want a bigger challenge."
"Ah, chief. You finally show how you really feel. Good. I know you'll be fun at least."
"Don't take this too seriously chief, but I think you're on the wrong side of the moral compass this time."
"Go ahead, take your shot. It won't work. Remember what I said? All hextech is just magic in disguise."
"Oh, did your boyfriend not work out? How sad."
"This is what I have to work with? Really? Caitlyn can't be serious with this stuff."
"Hey punk. Dodge this."
"I looked into it Ezreal. You're nothing like your father."
"Oh look, a yordle. Don't look surprised, I know a little furball when I see one."
"Oh no, they brought me an air conditioner to stop me."
"Pathetic. You think yourself a savior? Have you ever actually investigated into what Viktor's been up to?"
"Come out, little bird. I would really like to put an end to this game of cat and mouse."
"Are you not bored of this yet? You know how this ends. Just let it be a little quicker please."
"Don't worry, you won't be escaping again. I've got permission to kill on sight with you, little bird."
"Hmm, maybe I'll learn something more about this blade when I get through with you."
"You're not a real girl Orianna. You're a machine. One dimensional and, yet, made to be flawless. Ironic."
"We finally meet. Maybe this time you won't be so sloppy with your work Singed."
"I think this time, I'll be the one doing the slaughtering."
"I guess this little tale of mine comes to an end, right here, right now. It has a happy ending you know?"
"Well, that's disgusting."
"Oh, hello partner. Would you mind not destroying the evidence this time?"
"It's about time I got payback for all of my work you've destroyed."
"My job would be a lot easier if you weren't here, you know that right?"
"What did you expect honestly? Now people wander in the streets, praising the "oh so mighty machine herald". it's disgusting to say the least."
"Oh goodness, you're like Vi but even more annoying. Just go destroy everything I can work with another time."
Joke Pulls out a phone and begins to talk
- "Yes, Caitlyn, I'd like my doughnuts BONELESS."
- "Yes, I'd like my biscuit my way. No meat, no cheese... NO VEGETABLES!"
- "Yes, I'd like some doughnuts. Hm? Huh? Oh, ok. Understandable, have a nice day."
- "Yes, Magebusters here. Wuldivir speaking."
- "No Vi, Caitlyn isn't interested. Stop asking me if she wants a doughnut."
Casting Arcane Negation
- "Unsurprising."
- "Typical."
- "No."
- "You thought that would work?"
- "Not too clever it seems."
- "Wow, didn't see that coming."
Casting Mind Break
- "Shall we begin?"
- "Don't worry, the asylum will take good care of you."
- "This might sting a little right in your brain."
- "Congratulations, you're easier than a bank robber."
Casting Mental Prison
- "Not all prisons are physical."
- "Looks like it's over."
- "Oh no, can't move can we?"
- "Sometimes, it takes becoming completely insane to understand what you've done wrong."
- "Catch. If only it were that easy."
Casting Dissipation Orb
- "Nice try, but not good enough."
- "Was that an assault? On me?"
- "I'm not surprised that didn't work."
- "Congrats, you're stupider than you look."
- "I'm not a fan of magic you see."
- "Wow, how sad."
Wuldivir is an anti-mage, melee caster that revolves around effortlessly wiping off the dirt the enemy's worthless spells that are thrown at him. He performs incredibly well against magic damage and/or spell reliant characters, being able to prevent or negate an enemy spell with every single part of his kit. Whatever the enemy is packing, Wuldivir has an answer for it so that he can get back to doing what he does best: torture. Thank you for reading! Feedback is appreciated if it is constructive!
