A Way to Punish Trolls without being punished yourself

So far I've only played two placements, mostly because I am SCARED. So far in both placement games I've encountered trolls, both games ended in defeat no matter how valiantly my team-mates and I have fought. While I don't represent higher ELO (I hit Silver last season), it always struck me as strange that there was no way to get out of such games. While I COULD wait for the end of the game to report the player, my experience is ruined and I've endured a loss of LP . In addition, many of these trolls don't reveal themselves until actually inside the game, meaning that the majority of the time I don't have the opportunity to dodge (which still loses LP). I believe that the solution would be: 1. A system which allows for dodging in champ select, such as a "one free dodge" system or a system where players can vote on whether a certain team-mate is acting suspiciously. The vote would work similar to a surrender vote and the players would be allowed to dodge without a penalty, or with a reduced penalty. This wouldn't affect the "suspicious" player to avoid any misunderstandings costing players. 2. An in game way to report team-mates. This could allow players to post chat logs and maybe even start a vote to report the troll player. While you could argue that players can be reported after a game, this doesn't exactly stop them form ruining the game in progress and some players simply quit out of the after-game screen in anger after a match with a troll in it. There has to be a better way to catch and punish trolls.
