They believe themselves the superior races of this world? No. They are far from this according to the Chittering Trillions below their very feet. The countless hordes of the Tygdalis, an ancient race of insect-like sentient beings who have feasted upon the various nutrients found within the souls of Runeterra for ages. The world was not made to support this monstrous army of abominations, but mankind made it so they could survive. In ages past, the wide craters left by the many explosions created by World Runes left an irradiating amount of arcane magic in the soil within the craters. This near infinite source of nutrition allowed the Tygdalis to not only survive, but prosper. The arcane magic warped their bodies and minds, causing them to rapidly evolve into a near perfect race, albeit slightly unstable at times. Like any ginormous horde of insects found regularly throughout the world, the Tygdalis had a queen that constantly produced the offspring of the race and gave out orders to the trillions who served her. Located deep within the earth at an unknown location rests the queen of the Tygdalis and her eldest child, Yaakishaal. Yaakishaal was the first to discover and drink from the debris left behind by the World Runes, leading to the great expansion of the Tygdalis race throughout the various underground tunnels now going on for miles upon miles underneath Runeterra. Yaakishaal helps the queen give out orders and, in recent times, has even left the tunnels to explore the outside world. The plans that the queen has for this world are not something that Runeterra could ever support. In time, the Tygdalis will emerge from their hiding place underneath the feat of the mortals who walk above and then devour them all. They will then ravage the lands and feed upon the arcane magic that the mortals have left behind. The Tygdalis are not dumb and know that, eventually, the food left behind by the World Runes will eventually run dry. When that happens, their currently mighty race will die out. This cannot happen if they wish to live on forever. With this in mind, Yaakishaal has taken it upon herself to secure a foothold in the world above so that, when the time finally comes for The Great Emergence, the Tygdalis will have a base to operate from above ground. This foothold is within an abandoned mine within the foothills surrounding Demacia. The mine was once used to mine out any minerals that Demacia would need to craft weapons out of anything that wasn't petricide, but they soon discovered that their precious magic absorbing mineral was simply much cheaper when it came to the use of labor. Thus, the mine was abandoned and left to rot away. As time has passed, the mine has been used by many demonic cults that dwell within the forests and foothills. However, they have all found the mine far too dangerous and unstable to dwell within. However, Yaakishaal finds this situation to be perfect. Using the various organic building blocks that the Tygdalis can produce, the mine has become not only stable, but practically a fortress for the Tygdalis. The mine runs deep into the earth and, to be honest, if it was any deeper the mortals would have discovered the Tygdalis. However, fate that didn't happen and the mine would serve as a fortress that Yaakishaal could command from. Within no time, reports from hunters within Demacia foretold of giant insects that stalked the woods. Animals, completely drained of blood, scattered throughout the forests. Men disappearing in the night with little trace, and, for a few truly fear-stricken men, fellow hunters being snatched up into the treetops by ropes of web that would choke and burn the throats of any hunter who approached the blood-drained animals. When soldiers weres ent within the woods, they returned to confirm these reports. Ginormous webs lined the forests near the foothills. Unstable earth had consumed many of the men as they fell into what appeared to be tunnels that stretched on for unseen distances below the forests. Worst of all was the noise that echoed out from the tunnels: a hideous, mind ravaging chitter that seemed to come from the mouths of so many vile beings that the soldiers were forced to leave the forest immediately not because they saw the vile beings, but from the simple image that appeared in their heads of the creatures making such a hideous noise. Demaica's elite army of soldiers were scared back to their castle walls by a foe they could not even see. The king of Demacia was no fool; whatever was hiding within the woods and foothills of their kingdom was not a minor threat. Something had risen out from seemingly no where and had secured a foothold deep within their kingdom. What the king did not expect was that they were already at war with the Tygdalis. The soldiers who had retreated to the castles of Demacia vibrated the earth beneath their feet, allowing the Tygdalis burrowing beneath them to track them back to their castle. Ginormous insects emerged within the dungeons beneath the castle, devouring both the jailers and prisoners alike. The Tygdalis began to ravage the lower parts of the castle and they had already secured a position within the dungeons when King Jarvan was informed of the sudden attack. There was little time to lose. The many soldiers surrounding the castle were sent down into the dungeons, now pitch black, to exterminate the foe who had breached their castle walls. A siege that took days to end took place then, but, in the end, Demacia was victorious. However, what was so strange is that the soldiers who finally retook the castle dungeons found insects dead within sections of the dungeon that they hadn't even attacked yet. In truth, the arcane magic that had blessed the Tygdalis would also come to be their main weakness in this war. The petricide which was present in every structure of Demacia slowly burned away the insides of the insects, leaving them but shells in it's wake. It was not a quick death either. It was a slow death that even the Tygdalis did not feel until it was too late. The Tygdalis which retreated back to the mines reported this finding to Yaakishaal. It seemed this war would not end so quickly. They would require allies in this war if they were to win, and Yaakishaal had learned of just the nation to make contact with when looking for an alliance. The Yaakishaal quickly burrowed to the west towards the empire of Noxus. When Yaakishaal appeared herself in front of Swain, at first there was silence. Surprisingly, Swain was not intimidated by Yaakishaal and the horde which surrounded her. In fact, Yaakishaal felt a new emotion within her: fear. When she looked into Swain's eyes, she wanted to run. In the back of her mind, she knew she could overwhelm him if needed, but the rest of her mind told her to flee. Yaakishaal quickly went to negotiating an alliance which took many days to nail down. In the end, Swain agreed to an alliance and even allowed the Tygdalis to remain within Noxus and learn more of the world which Noxus had conquered and was conquering. However, the Tygdalis would remain within their own district in Noxus. If Swain learned of a single member of their society venturing out and killing one of his good men, he would kill them all himself. For some reason, Yaakishaal believed him. Nodding her head in agreement, she assured him that the Tygdalis were not a bunch of barbarians. They served their queen without hesitation and with absolute loyalty. If the queen wished for them to alliance with Noxus, then all requirements for such an alliance would be met. With that, Swain nodded and sent out the word of the empire's new ally. Yaakishaal had not planned on making alliances, but it seemed that it was unavoidable. However, once Demacia was culled and an opportunity presented itself, the Tygdalis would turn on Noxus and take all of their arcane magic. The queen assured Yaakishaal that this Swain figure would not present an issue in this plan. With newfound courage and an important ally, Yaakishaal returned to the mine within Demacia, bringing with her now not only a horde of Tygdalis, but the might of Noxus. In the coming days, blood will be spilled on the white walls that Demacia felt so protected by. In due time, all of Demacia would belong to the Tygdalis.

GAMEPLAY SUMMARY
When it comes to play Yaakishaal, your entire job is essentially to slow the progress of the enemy... more literally than with other champions. Layering the jungle surrounding your team with webs will prove to be extremely valuable to the efforts of your team by making it so that all who dare approach have to wade through a swarm of Tygdalis Scouts which prick and prod at their skin with their poison which slowly ticks away at their health over time. A few Tygdalis Scouts is hardly even a problem for the enemy and could even be called free gold in certain situations, but, in a swarm, the Tygdalis Scouts will quickly apply their poison and cause a decent chunk of the enemy's health to be slowly taken away from them. The long duration of the poison can give the enemy time to react, but, if they find themselves in a ginormous swarm of Tygdalis Scouts, they will likely find themselves overwhelmed by the sheer numbers that Yaakishaal forces upon them. Early game, the main goal of Yaakishaal should be to layer the brush within and near her lane to provide her and her allies with proper protection from sneaky enemies while also harassing them with a swarm of Tygdalis. Constantly flinging balls of webbing at the enemy will prove to be effective in forcing the enemy to retreat away from Yaakishaal and her ally. If the enemy is low enough, it might even be enough to finish them off. Should a fight break out, Yaakishaal can use her ultimate, Acidic Embrace, to lock down an enemy champion and massively shred their Armor and Magic Resist. This can effectively turn a 2v2 into more like a 2v1. It is important that Tygdalis Scouts are attacking the enemy while Yaakishaal is channeling this ability to both distract the enemy and make sure Yaakishaal is making an impact at all times during the fight. Once the game reaches the point to where team fights begin to break out, Yaakishaal is best in the middle of her team so that she is given proper protection and she can provide her team with proper protection with her army of Tygdalis. Acidic Embrace is an incredible tool for locking down and making enemy Tanks vulnerable to damage, meaning Tygdalis should try and use her ultimate on enemy Tanks who leave themselves open for far too long. Once Sticky Shot has been leveled to Rank 5, it will lock off a large area of a fight, forcing enemies to panic away from the webbing or spawn a massive amount of Tygdalis Scouts. Queen's Bolster will further punish enemies who misstep and end up spawning one too many Tygdalis Scouts while also making Yaakishaal less vulnerable to enemy burst damage if she is jumped on by an enemy Assassin. As the game winds to an end, Yaakishaal performs incredibly well in Siege scenarios by providing her team with many layers of protective webbing and an intimidating horde of Tygdalis Scouts. Wherever Yaakishaal treads, she brings the entire horde of the Tygdalis with her, meaning that all areas of the map she is present in become "Danger Zones" for the enemy team. Enemies who dash without a care through their jungle and even the lanes will find themselves constantly spawning a horde of Tygdalis Scouts due to walls of webbing. With a good Yaakishaal on a team, all fights will start with the advantage being held by her team. Proper sustain and healing, however, will prove troublesome for Yaakishaal and her efforts, so be warned of enemy champions who provide such effects for themselves and their allies.
