New Runes and Masteries update. Thoughts?

I'm sure some of you are like me and have spent money and lots of time making and picking runes and masteries to fit the champs you play most. I have probably 15 rune pages and 20 masteries set to certain champs and roles I frequent the most. I like the changes that are coming and Riot says they will compensate dedicated veteran players like myself who've put money and time in their runes and masteries. I wonder how.

At any rate, all the recent changes have been great (client, 10-man ban, re-works, etc), so I'm optimistic for the changes to the runes and masteries.
