Polymorphic Ward Skins
I thought it would be a neat idea if there were ward skins where the timer could be visually evident by the ward effects.
For example, suppose that a ward skin was that of a flower. Once the ward is planted, it could rapidly bloom, and over the course of 60-180 seconds (depending on the ward-type), the flower ward would visually shrivel or decay as it were. In the event that a ward is swept/cleared, the animation for shriveling would be accelerated to reflect the HP state.
I understand that with green wards, the HP does not reflect the actual health of the ward (as a ward with 1 hp will timeout in the same span of time as a ward with 3 hp), but I believe that the community and design teams could devise some interesting effects.
So I'm kicking this discussion to the community to see who can turn the flower example into a League related example which can motivate the design team to really consider the idea.
