Would this be too OP for a ultimate?

An ultimate where you can select any VISIBLE champion on the map and copy their ult and be able to re-activate (to use the ult) for like 30 seconds after selecting the ult you want to copy, good for a support champion especially.

sounds cool and all but i don't see it working very well with some champions because -

  1. possible op-ness (copying kayle ult, copying karthus ult, etc.)
  2. special animations, most champions have special animations for their ultimates, think ahri, rek'sai, zed, etc. copying all of these and making them work with another champion would probably take 5ever and just look weird

I wouldn't say any visible champion on the map. Its a neat idea, but to balance it, I would make the champion have to be in physical contact with the champion who has the ult they are copying, and can sit on it for a max of 10-15 seconds.

i think LoL is more about unique champions. This copying abilities would bring a lot of bugs and imbalances, and that's not what LoL needs at the moment.

I would think just a little bit, honestly, but I think that'd be cool to see.

Not going to happen for obvious logistic reasons. How well-defined do you think the following behaviours are?

  • Copying the R on any transform champion other than Gnar
  • Copying Syndra's R without any spheres of your own
  • Copying Orianna's R without a ball
  • Copying Rek'Sai's R without tunnels
  • Copying Twitch's R as melee
  • Copying Heimerdinger, Karma or LeBlanc's R without the rest of the kit
  • Copying Akali, Cho'Gath, Kassadin or Teemo's R without ammo/stacks
  • Copying Kha'Zix's R without evolutions

Way too many people are into this "ability draft" fad without thinking over the corner cases. This is perhaps why programmers and designers behave like they are at war all the time.
