What would be a good kit for a new "beginner" champion?

With the growth of minigames and mechanics in LOL for balance purposes, the traditional right clicker stat ball fighter is slowing fading away much to the disappointment of some as things get more and more complicated and confusing with hundreds of intricate kits to think about. As I get older and have less and less time to play League my already below average mechanical ability has been wasting away even more and I've been finding a lot more satisfaction in simple bruisers that are hard to mess up with. Champions like Taric and Trundle who have safety nets and simple gameplay. In contrast I still don't quite understand the reworked Akali and her weird mechanics.

With that in mind, what could Riot do to create a brand new beginner friendly fighter or mage or support or whatever kind of champion in this day and age? What could their kit involve to be both easy to use but also balanced?

I think Warwick is a pretty good example. He's got a lot of passive healing to help with the jungle, which can be tough for new players. He has a blood trail pointing you to lanes you can gank. His Q and E have skill expression potential but are still useful if you don't recast E/hold Q down. And his ult is pretty straight forward and even has a range indicator at all times, while also providing more health.

To summarize: Abilities should either be simple to use, or useful even when not used well. Sustain and indicators what you should be doing help.

Add Garen to the list, as he has no resource to keep track of, has passive sustain and resistances, a fairly easy to use CC, some nice AoE and an execution ultimate.
