New summoner spell concept.

Hey, hear me out: So this summoner spell would be an alternative to flash for champions that are already mobile or for players simply wanting to counter flash. yes, a flash counter. I call it rewind for a lack of a better name.

Basically this summoner spell would be grayed out if you already had flash selected (and vice-versa) because having flash AND this spell might be a tad OP in lane but what it is is a simple point and click spell that resets the enemy's position to where they were 2 seconds ago.

it's essentially Ekko's ult but used offensively on enemies. Imagine you're lee sin or rek'sai and you're going to gank a lane, they flash to get out and you rewind them back to you. you're at a minor disadvantage with not having flash but since you have rewind your ganks become that much more deadly and the threat of junglers that the laners feel will be that much more prominent. This isn't the ONLY use for it though, this time imagine you're a support and you're trying to protect your ADC but with more and more champions recieving mobility abilities its just getting harder and harder to do effectively, so you take rewind, a yasuo ult's your adc and then you rewind him back to where he blinked from, allowing the ADC to kite easier. sure you could just exhaust them but that doesn't solve the problem that yasuo will still be right on top of your ADC. The third and final use (that I can think of) is similar to the last point except used offensively, imagine you're braum support again and you go to ult the enemy ADC but they flash out of it during the animation, if you react fast enough you can rewind them back into the ult to get the knockup or if used by a ranged champion that's being chased by a hungry jungler, they can simply rewind them backwards in order to gain breathing room to kite.

Anyway that's Rewind (concept name, call it whatever you want) thanks for sticking with me til the end.

X Marks the Spot isn't a good idea to have as a summoner spell

This actually sounds really cool! Though honestly I'd like to see a less "wonky" way of stopping it from flash. Junglers wouldn't be a problem do to their need of Smite. I think I would make it have a short channel and perhaps ground the caster. I'm not sure this would be the most effective method. But I think it'd be a nice way to force the caster to show a little restraint when casting, and making it less viable with flash. This would limit who could use it, but I think that might be worth it. Really cool idea, man! God bless!

It's a good idea but to clunky because if playing vs you will technically never know where you rewind them cause on wiki you see his little clone behind him so it will make such a visual mess for that to be on every champ on the team and if it isn't then in teamfights that can confused the team that they just disappear and when playsing vs it it will seem so unfun cause then just send you back and you can't do anything about it

How much range would the spell have plus it seams a little bit op, pretty much an immediate death for them
