Here's a concept which is lane minion focused. I think it'd be really cool. :)

Name: Magnus "The Undeniable Prophet"

Visual concept: Robed. energy seeps out. halo or something similar above his head that is made out of energy. holding a sword made out of energy. When he ults he gets wings made out of energy. All of the particles that make up his energy are either white or black (this changes based on his passive)

Game play concept: Melee. AP based. Solo laner or support style. About average when it comes to tankiness/squishiness. Uses ally and/or enemy lane minions to deal damage. Therefore he will be really good laning phase and prefer teamfights in lane around minions. Good anti-siege or siege champ.

Kit:

Passive: Can walk through minions (small but necessary). Getting kills and using abilities offensively makes your energy dark, this increases the effectiveness of your offensive spells and unlocks the dark version of your ult. Getting assists and using abilities defensively/supporty makes your energy light, this then makes those more effective and unlocks the light version of your ult. You can only be one or the other at a single point in time so that's a choice that has to be made. Also, this can be on a scale of sorts so that really skilled players could constantly walk the fine line in the center and make it really easy to change from light to dark or vise versa. For example it's from 100 to -100 and abilities could give 1 and -1 (depending), and kills and assists can give 5 and -5.

Q: on enemy cast: applies a DOT and if that champion deals more than a certain amount of damage to anything they will get stunned. (A different way to "pacify" an enemy champion than decreasing their attack speed or slowing.) on ally cast: amplifies their damage dealt to anything and gives a small heal over time (I'm thinking the amount of a health pot roughly)

W: inspires nearby allied minions (like a lesser baron buff) and those minions will now attack whatever you attack. They will also follow you for the duration of the buff. Their damage is based off of your AP. (need help with early dragon? just bring a wave of minions! it would leave your tower defenseless though so that is some counterplay) Also, any neutral monsters in the AoE when cast will not attack your team for a short duration (your team can still do damage to them though). Would be really useful for early game drag and baron.

E: rush to a target area and fear all enemies (minions and champs) or neutral monsters in a small radius. if your allies (champs and minions) are in the small radius it gives them a shield. these two effects can work at the same time if there are both allies and enemies in the circle. Also, whatever minions you have inspired from your W will follow you. For example they will dash over walls with you.

R: Has both a light and a dark version. Light: increases the health of ALL your lane minions (all three lanes) and gives them a healing aura for the duration that heals you and your team. (now the minions you inspire are super tanky and heal you, go take an objective or just keep your team alive) Dark: convert all enemy lane minions (all three lanes) to allies and increase their damage for a duration. Inspire would then work with them also. (gives you more damage potential and you can take enemy towers super easy)

With this champ I was trying to go along the lines of a prophet that has the power to have a lot of followers. You can go the light path and use your powers to help or go the dark path and use them to corrupt and control.

Pros: great laning phase, both good at siege and anti-siege, can really control early game objectives

Cons: damage potential significantly goes down without minions, very bad against good wave clear champs, no self sustain (cannot cast his buff/heal on himself or get a shield when he dashes)
