Champion Concept: Aichmo WIP
Aichmo (pronounced ik-mo)
Aichmo is a young boy who is tormented by an insatiable lust for blood and a fear of knives.
Lore: (this is still just a brief over-view but will undoubtedly be expanded upon in the future)
Aichmo is a the youngest member of the Noxian Persuasion Tactics Division, which is tasked with getting information out of people regardless of the methods used. Originally born in Ionia Aichmo was only a few years old when Noxian forces invading his village captured him and took him into slavery. Little is known about him from there on other than he swore his allegiance to Noxia and was given freedom under the direct approval of Swain... more to come
overall concept and ideas:
has a love for blood but a fear of knives was emotionally damaged as a child on the streets of noxus after being captured originally from ionia so has a basic understanding of the balance of nature wants to achieve peace within himself but is conflicted on how uses fear and trickery to avoid conflict a unique passive system that relies on his resource: fear is a small in stature young boy but “transforms” when passive is active
some basic ideas for his abilities:
has an ability similar to Vladimir that siphons off some of the opponent’s health utilizes the cc fear in both his passive and his ultimate has a tether like ability that interacts directly with his and his opponents fears abilities add fear to himself instead of remove them has a built in item similar to Viktor that interacts with his fear levels at max rank in his item he no longer fears and loses some of the debuffs he has
Passive and what it does:
Aichmo posses a fear for all things sharp and therefore gains fear whenever he uses his blade in combat, however Aichmo’s obsession with blood leads him to use it all the same Aichmo gains debuffs based on the amount of current fear that he posses, this fear can be reduced through certain abilities, his unique item similar to a “rage” bar (see gnar) Aichmo has a fluid amount of fear and is not based on an incremental amount such as mana
actual mechanics behind Aichmo’s passive:
based on the amount of fear accumulated Aichmo receives increased damage and has reduced health regen up to a certain percent while Aichmo possesses no fear his abilities are empowered for their next cast reducing the cooldown by half fear is reduced at a lower rate the more fear Aichmo possesses fear levels are maintined so long as Aichmo stays in combat (2 second window before reducing) if Aichmo reaches full fear bar he is “feared” for 1.5 seconds, if this occurs within a certain distance of enemy units they are also affected by fear upon completing 100% fear Aichmo recieves 200 fear stacks on his knife
Aichmo’s passive weapon:
gives Aichmo bonus health, spellvamp and lifesteal based on item level requires Aichmo to have accumulated x amount of %fear before it upgrades upgrades are free but you must activate the item in order for it to upgrade with each of the increasing levels the “shadow” that surrounds Aichmo during his ultimate increases in size different levels: level 1: bonus: 50 hp and 2% spellvamp/lifesteal level 2: bonus: 250 hp and 6% spellvamp/lifesteal:requirements: 1000 fear level 3: bonus: 500 hp and 15% spellvamp/lifesteal:requirements: 2000 fear level max: bonus: 500 hp and 20% spellvamp/lifesteal and 5% reduced dmg and you no longer build fear upon using abilities:requirements 3000 fear
Aichmo’s q (Trickery):
Aichmo sends out 5 blades in a cone, 1 random blade does additional damage and transfers Aichmo’s fear to the enemy fearing them based on how much fera Aichmo currently has costs 30% fear bar at all ranks, until he has fully upgraded his blade cooldowns: 12/10/8/6/4 seconds does 30/45/60/80/120 + (.25 ad ratio) physical dmg per blade up to 3 blades may do dmg the afflicted blade does 130% dmg and fears for .5/1/1.5/2 seconds based on % of your current fear
Aichmo’s w (Bloodlust):
passive: Aichmo’s basic attacks have a chance to steal 10 + (.5 ad) health from the enemy based on the amount of fear Aichmo has %chance = (%fear/2) active: Aichmo deactivates Bloodlust’s passive and gains additional attack speed and movement speed for a short duration the amount of attack speed and movement speed is equal to twice his current fear % for a duration of 3 seconds, upon completion Aichmo gains full fear cost 20% fear bar at all ranks, until he has fully upgraded his blade cooldowns: 10/12/14/12/10 seconds
Aichmo’s e (Frenzy):
Aichmo becomes enraged taking reduced damage and rapidly regening health over the duration, while on cooldown taking dmg from an enemy auto attack reduces the cooldown by 1 second Aichmo takes 3/6/9/12/15% reduced damage and gains health regen equal to 2/4/6/8/10% of his max hp over a 3 second duration costs 40% fear bar at all ranks, until he has fully upgraded his blade cooldowns: 15/13/11/9/7 seconds
Aichmo’s r (Mastercraft):
Aichmo succumbs to his lust for blood and gains additional size based on the rank of his knife, Aichmo also receives damage reduction and an on-hit effect for the duration of the ulitmate based on his knives rank. During the duration of his ult all auto attacks dealt to enemy champions create a tether between Aichmo and the enemy that siphons off a % of the enemies health per second turning this damage into on-hit damage to the last enemy that is struck The amount of health siphoned off is equal to (rank of knife) * ( .5)% of their max health for 5/7/9 seconds based on rank of ultimate The final damage burst done is equal to (damage drained) + 100/150/300 physical damage cost: free cooldowns: 120/100/80
