Bio: Male, looks about mid-twenties, cocky look on his face, tribal relics and shuriman style clothing on his body. No weapon.

(Forgive bad storytelling.) History: A male born from a bloodline, loyal to the Shuriman Emperor. From a child he had been raised and trained to serve the Emperor. His life was stripped from him as he was trained day and night by his surviving family to be of use to the Emperor for when he returns, leaving a bitter ache in his heart for the Emperor whom stripped his life from him.

As his family taught him from ancient tombs they discovered his gift of being able to control the sands themselves. His family saw this as destiny that he will be the one to serve the emperor, deciding to dedicate their time to help him master his gifts. However Corvas saw his magic as another revelation. That he himself deserved to rule and bring about the great empire of the sands once more with himself at the helm. When his family found this out they attempted to stop him, convince him that he could be a great servant. Their words infuriated him and eventually he grew into a rage, beginning to attack his tribe.

When the sun rose once again only silence would be heard, blood painting the sands where the tribe once was. Seeing the remnants of his family he would feel only rage for the being whom he was told to dictate his life too. Grabbing his things he would set out to see the world, breaking the thread that tied him to the sands until one day he heard a rumor, that the fallen empire once again had risen. At this his heart would be filled with hate once again, the remembrance of his family and the blood on his hands still being seen. As he remembered everything he would find himself a new goal, to find Shurima, find the Emperor whom stole his life and kill him to regain control over it once again.

Playstyle: Control Mage: Sand based.

Abilities:

Passive: Desert's Province

Corvas' spells cover the effected areas in sand. When on the sand his spells gain new abilities, moves faster and has increased mana regeneration. Sand fades based on level. Quicker early on and then perm sand on lvl 15.

Q: Sand Wave Fires a wave of sand forward. Empowered drags enemies hit to end of skillshot

W: Quicksand Pit Creates a pit of quicksand that slows. Empowered gains area and roots.

E: Magi's Control/Sandstorm 2 part spell. Part one, allows the user to fire an ability using sand as a source. Using the sand removes it from the area. Part two is absorbing the sand around him into a sandstorm that buffets and blinds (light dims and unable to see far away. Closer to character the better able to see.) enemies near while spreading sand. Requires full sand area to use sandstorm.

R: Wrath of the sands Two ideas about this one. One is a channel ability where for some seconds the user begins to channel as the sands begin to form in the area. Upon channel finish the ult activates and either creates a vortex that travels with the user, dragging players close to him. Allows Q to be -spammed- 1/3 is empowered.

Or just have him be rooted like Xerath and is able to spam his abilties with sandstorm auto active.

Just a thought cause I saw a video on a sand mage that was similar to Azir and thought that they would be different enough to bring in.

I feel like you could add more clarity and overall structure to your words, it is indeed understandable, however, the way you painted Empowered and Normal abilities were quite poor and lacked needed information imo. Other than that, I like the kit and that is an interesting concept to solve Riot's known problem (back then) for Seth's sand lag. If Riot still has a problem with permanent sand though, I would suggest just maxing the timer the sands disappear. I'm personally not comfortable with in-game mechanics and number crunching so I'll leave that to another.

Your short story for Corvas has a very confusing timeline for me, so please correct this timeline that I came up with according to your short story.

  1. Corvas learned that he had magic
  2. Corvas raged and killed his tribe
  3. Corvas left Shurima
  4. Xerath ascended killing all of Shurima
  5. Corvas heard the rumors of Shurima?

I am very confused with what you have laid out for your lore concept, particularly two parts. The first, "That he himself deserved to rule and bring about the great empire of the sands once more with himself at the helm", this suggests (imo) that Shurima has fallen or is in some kind of "dark age". If it is the latter I would love to see what you come up with, perhaps something to do with the void? If not then let me continue with my second confusion, "...until one day he heard a rumor, that the fallen empire once again had risen." If Shurima did not fall (as suggested up above) then how did Corvas know it fell? You said he wanted to explore the world, to break off loose ends, "...breaking the thread that tied him to the sands..." In addition, you added_** "once again"**_ meaning that Shurima has risen before, which there could be two resolutions to my question here. The first is that you have implemented homebrewed lore, the second is that this could simply be a mistake and I'm just over thinking things here.

Anyway, that's all I have, I guess what I wrote does feel nitpicky just I was really confused with the timeline you've created here and I just love the lore of league. That's all, glhf :) [sg-ezreal]
