TOPIC Creating variations of Thornmail by creating new Bramble Vest builds.

WHY Thornmail was reworked to combat Lifesteal, and as recent patches have shown (Bloodline buff), Lifesteal isn't that threatening. Thornmail seems to fall off, and doesn't punish the poke like it was originally intended to do. Unless you're Rammus, it doesn't feel so rewarding.

SO WHY NEW ITEMS Why make new items instead of just reverting/reworking Thornmail? Well because eventually we would fall into the same issue when another patch eventually makes Lifesteal a real threat again. Creating a variety of Thornmail alternatives, each with a unique passive to prevent stacking, will allow options against different types of assault and will free up any issues with further patches making a single-path item obsolete.

HOW MANY ITEMS 3 is probably ideal, and here's 3 basic concepts that focus on different types of assault and more focused defenses.

THORNMAIL Cost: 2900 Armor: 85 Health: 300 Cooldown: 10% item 3076 item 3067 Unique Passive: Thorns; Nature Upon being hit with a basic attack, reflects magic damage equal to 10% of your bonus armor +15, and applies Grievous Wounds on the attacker for 3 seconds. Nature- Basic attacks against you reduce the cooldown of your abilities by .3 seconds and restore 1% of your missing Health over 3 seconds.

RAZORPLATE Cost: 2900 Armor: 100 item 3076 item 3076 Unique Passive: Thorns; Razor- Upon being hit with a basic attack, reflects magic damage equal to 10% of your bonus armor +25, and applies Grievous Wounds on the attacker for 3 seconds. Razorsharp- Enemies bleed out for 1% of their Maximum Health over 3 seconds.

CUIRASS OF THE BLIZZARD Cost: 2900 Armor: 90 item 3076 item 3082 Unique Passive: Thorns; Blizzard- Upon being hit with a basic attack, reflects magic damage equal to 10% of your bonus armor +5, and applies Grievous Wounds on the attacker for 3 seconds. Blizzard- Deals 5 Magic Damage per second to nearby enemies, and reduces their Movement Speed and Attack Speed by 5%.
