The Fisherman, New Champion Concept
The Fisherman
A Bruiser meant for the Top Lane as his main role, but can also easily Jungle (Can easily be worked to be a Mage for the mid lane)
Melee basic attacks- He uses a fishing pole to attack (If Mage, ranged basic attacks using his rod) He uses fish for all of his abilities, and the fish surround him at all times. He uses no mana/energy due to him needing fish for all his abilities
Abilities- (Has to start W -similar to Azir)
Q- The Fisherman charges an attack of fish in a straight line. The longer the ability is charged, the more fish are added to the attack damage. The Fisherman can move during this charge up.
- Each point added to his Q increases the damage, and shortens the charge up time.
W- Passive: Each fish called to surround The Fisherman increases the damage for his basic attacks Active: Summons a fish to surround him (He needs fish for his abilities, it's the basis for his whole kit) -This ability can store fish in reserve (Like Corki's Ult) Up to as many points in this ability
- Each point added to his W adds another fish that can surround him. (Up to 5)
E- A 2-part Attack 1st Cast: The Fisherman Charges up and sends out bait to a small area, sending fish to attack everything that goes in the small circle. -The amount of bait thrown, the more fish go, and the more damage per second the fish will do. 2nd Cast: The Fisherman casts his rod into the affected area and stuns all enemies inside. -He casts into the area automatically, it is not needed to aim your cursor.
- Each point added to his E increase damage, and shortens the charge up time.
R- Sends out all of his fish that are surrounding him to an enemy champion. The fish pick up the enemy and moves him/her to any location The Fisherman directs. The Fish also do DPS damage to the affected enemy. -The more fish surrounding The Fisherman at the time of the attack, the faster the fish carry the champion. -Fish also move faster when moving towards the Fisherman *Each point added increase damage per second, as well as the area in which The Fisherman can send his fish.
Lore- The Fisherman was a poor fisherman with aspirations for a better life, he continued the job his father had raised him in. He always dreamed of a big catch to get out of the small village and on to a better, richer life.
It was late afternoon , and The Fisherman was getting ready to head back home after a long and disappointing day. As he packed up his things and turned to leave, he saw a man bleeding and dying under a nearby tree. He approached the man, and tried to help. The man said he was on the run from raiders who were trying to take a valuable item from him. The dying man begged The Fisherman to take the item, and finish the quest that this man had started. He then handed The Fisherman a large stone in a satchel named the Moonstone. The Fisherman could feel the energy emitting from the mysterious rock. The bleeding man told the Fisherman that a tribe that lived in the ocean need this stone to survive the next 100 years, and that a representative from the tribe would meet him in the mystic cove near the beach. In his dying breath he continued to tell of the importance of the stone, and that nothing can happen to the stone.
Shaken and confused, the fisherman turned towards the beach to fulfill his promise to the unknown deliverer. As he walked back, the raiders had caught up with him. Scared, The Fisherman grabbed the stone out of the satchel, and tapped into it's powers to destroy the oncoming raiders. Greed sunk into his heart, and he saw this to be his big chance to leave his town and make a name for himself. He turned away from the shore, and away from the mystic cove, and walked toward a better life.
Meanwhile, Nami
arrived at the beach awaiting the exchange of the Moonstone.
I can't draw, but he would look like a normal human man. Not huge and bulky, but more slender. As you'd imagine a standard fisherman to look.
If anyone can draw, email me at [email protected] with your ideas. or else link in the dicussion.
The whole idea is subject to change. let me know what you think.
