Turns out the story lore forgot one little detail in the real reason why and are mortal enemies, and that reason's name is bitches. I could tell you a long complicated story about how shattering the rare arcane crystal transported Jayce to a very very distant land where Morgana fell in love as she became convinced that Jayce was the only person to see right through her in managing to help him to get back to Plitover and then was heartbroken to see him and Kayle have such a natural romantic connection upon meeting in the League of Legends. But we all knew Jayce fucked around anyway.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Morgana is the sweetest bitch you'll ever meet. I'm sure we've all been hit with a Dark Binding by seeing our exes on the street or getting a text or phone call from them. I'm sure many of us have had boy/girlfriends just Torment the Soil below you when you're anywhere without them. I'm sure we've seen exes make a Black Shield of Denial around themselves that blocks everything they have done wrong. And I'm sure we have had exes wake you at three in the morning with their Soul Shackling text/calls saying "I need you baby".

It is time to embrace how these champions exist in reality. I'm sure seeing this embodiment of all failed relationships with a narcissistic people will make this serious one dimensional character as a comedic relief, and will help a lot of people come to peace with their breakups. :D LETS GET TO STEPPIN RIOT.
