Lore Discussion about a recent Champion Concept
So I made a champion concept recently and this post is meant to bump it is here to discuss the lore and explain why I do think that it's a good idea.

I'll start by answering various questions I suspect could be presented.
** Is she a lesbian?**
Yessiree
Why are you writing her to be a lesbian?
I'm gay, so yay, representation! But that isn't the reason, honestly. I started with her ultimate, as I've been trying to create a champion with a proper martyrdom mechanic and taking your ally's damage for them seems the most direct path. I figured that this character would cling to those she held dear because she'd lost everything before. Shurima seemed like the proper place to put her, as between the Void, the Darkin, brigands, and the rise of an ancient empire, there were plenty of ways to lose everything. My first thought was swallowed by the Void, but that's literally Kai'Sa's backstory. I figured she wouldn't be an amnesiac, as that's too cliche'd, so what if she lost everything without a trace or an explanation? That brought me to Bard, as the Wanderer is capable of such a thing, if an artifact of great power is involved. I tied her village to Targon (because Targon is the most powerful of anyone in Runeterra) and decided the artifact controlled destiny in order to guide Aurelion Sol to their bidding. After losing everything, Lena would become full of despair, but people consumed by it don't become martyrs as they rarely form enough coherent thought to value something enough to sacrifice themselves. As such, she needed a turnaround-- something or someone to bring her back from the brink. I chose Taliyah because, at this point, they were foils. Taliyah is full of hope and holds her family by her side while Lena was full of despair and completely alone. (At least, by how I read Taliyah's lore) Taliyah's village was a caring one and had been strengthened by Taliyah's reveal of her powers and most likely couldn't see someone about the age of Taliyah suffer so greatly and took her in. Lena would learn to live again in such a nurturing environment and it would make sense that she would come to idolize and perhaps, even love Taliyah with all that she'd hear about her.
TL;DR: It just kinda developed as I wrote her story and I rolled with it.
How would Lena's passive interact with her ult?
Her passive would only stack her defenses until she casts her ult. It would remain there during her ult, then the damage return would be true damage, as it was already lessened by her defenses once.
Isn't her kit too simple?
Simple=/=Bad. It allows skill expression around choosing targets for your q who can and will use it, using w at the correct time and place, timing e to maximize the shield and cleanse, and timing the ult to get the maximum benefit from your passive and to save a carry and to not accidentally leave your carry in a bad 1v2.
