Project Yi loading border

A couple of months ago when I logged and started playing yi I noticed that I had the project yi loading boarder. I was thrilled when I noticed that, but today when I logged and started playing him I realized its not there anymore. Riot usually doesn't take back the stuff they give out so I want to know whether this is a bug or some easter egg thing for the new project skins (i'm mad at riot for giving the skin and taking it back tho.
