Defining Teemo's Identity As a Scout

Hey Riot I have recently Seen that you guys want to rework teemo and but keep his iconic nature of being scout. So i just took that idea and ran with it. Teemo

Large Change to teemo's Basic attack which would now be Melee Attack. For a weapons I suggest a torch that will be lit up when has passive is active.

Passive: Scouting Ahead When Teemo hits a champion with an ability he marks an enemy causing them to leave behind a trail of vision for 4 seconds. Every 8 Seconds Teemo Lights his torch causing his next basic attack burn their target, for 10+ (3 × Teemo's level) + (+10% Ability Power) magical damage each second for 4 seconds.

**Q: Revealing Dart ** Cooldown: 9/8/7/6/5 Range: 600

Fires a dart in a line that strikes the first enemy in its path, dealing damage, and marking the enemy.

Deals 70/120/170/220/280 (+80% Ability Power) magic damage and marks champions.

W: Ankle Dash Cooldown: 22/20/18/16/14 Range: 445

Teemo scampers around, passively increasing his Movement Speed until he is struck by an enemy champion or turret. Teemo can dash to mark and damage enemies.

Passive: Teemo's Movement Speed is increased by 10/14/18/22/26% unless he has been damaged by an enemy champion or turret in the last 5 seconds.

Active: Teemo dashes gaining invisibility for 1 second, marking, and damaging enemies passed through for 60/100/140/180/220 (+50% Ability Power) Magic damage. If a champion is hit cool down is reduced by 6 seconds

E: Explosive trap *Cooldown: 26/24/22/20/18 Range: 230 *

Teemo places an explosive trap using one of the mushrooms stored in his pack. If an enemy steps on the trap, it explodes knocking back enemies, marking, and damaging them.

Deals 70/105/140/175/210 (+35% Ability Power) magic damage and last 4 minutes. Teemo forages for a mushroom every 26/24/22/20/18 seconds, but he can only carry 2 and have 2 active at a time.

**R: Uphill Battle ** Range 800

After observing his enemies teemo has chosen a battlefield that will tip the advantage to his team.

Passive: Teemo passively generates 1 Intelligence every 1.5 seconds he is near a champion. For time he marks a champion teemo gains 6.5 stacks of intelligence at 100 stack teemo is confident in his knowledge of his enemy and is ready for battle.

Im trying to decided between actives

Active: Teemo Reveals all enemies on the map and removes all vision not provided by champion for 10 seconds.

OR

Active: Teemo Chooses an area and for 10 seconds teammates attacks gain 0 (5%/7.5%/10% Ability power) Magic Damage and enemies are slowed for (15%/25%/35%)

Would "intelligence" be his "resource", like how Shyvana has Fury as a "resource"?

Changing his AA range just doesn't feel like a good thing to me. Range is basically the NUMBER 1 most defining aspect of how a champion plays (which is why most form swappers like Jayce are such an issue), and making him melee basically removes 50% of his identity, regardless of how good his new kit is. Not to mention that his blow gun is possibly the single most iconic part of his appearance, sound, and feel (every AA, he breaths in hard, tips back, and then Fweep! darts you).

This sounds like a really cool concept, but this isn't Teemo anymore. Teemo is a scout yes, but as a scout he is not so much a "I'm going to find out who and where they are." scout, he's more of a "I'm a scout, yes, but really if I find you in the woods and you're a threat, I will KILL YOU." scout. Think more like Guerrilla soldier than information gatherer. Yes, Teemo should have some sort of information gaining ability in his kit, but he is still a soldier, not a boy scout or a battle field tactician. Your idea would completely fix Teemo and his problems, basically because there wouldn't be any Teemo left. He still has shrooms, yes, but, that is all that remains of Teemo, especially since any future rework would come with a complete visual overhaul.

Basically, I really like the concept, but it just doesn't feel like Teemo, and no, I don't mean because Teemo=Satan or any garbage like that, I mean that he wouldn't feel like a "swift scout" if he had to get in melee range and start clubbing people with a torch. He wouldn't feel like an ambush soldier who randomly goes out into the woods and makes poisonous traps. He wouldn't feel like a guy who uses ancient techniques to poison his blow darts.
