Nidalee Re-Imagined Concept
Personally, I would like to see Nidalee feel more like a mage rather than anything else. Anyways, straight to point form:
-
Nidalee historically has had everything on her kit (but crowd control) so with my ideas I will be looking to trim the fat and focus more on one or two ideas and remove things not really needed. I do like supportive elements in her kit and a heal specifically makes sense as a poke champion.
-
I do like the idea of landing her Javelin Toss and X thing gets buffed, so I may do more with this element.
-
I want to remove her thing of being both a mobile assassin and a poke mage and just go more towards the poke mage element. More focused power, easier it is to balance and gets Nidalee picked for a specific reason rather than is just the currently strongest champion at the time and rarely sees play when she is not the strongest.
-
Make sure she is still the huntress that transforms between a cat and human.
Attack Range: 575 units Movement: 335 units per second
NOTE: QWE, first row is human abilities and second row is cougar abilities, cougar abilities scaling with her ultimate.
Prowl (Passive):
Human Form: Nidalee's projectile abilities create brush behind them as they travel, this brush lasts for 3 seconds.
Cougar Form: Nidalee moves 5%(+3% per 100AP) faster while in brush, doubles if inside brush created by Prowl.
Javelin Toss (Q): Cooldown: 6/5.25/4.5/3.75/3 seconds; Cost: 50/55/60/65/70 mana; Range: 1500 units
Nidalee tosses a javelin in the target direction, dealing 70/85/100/115/130(+70%AP) magic damage to the first enemy struck and apply Cougar Strike for 2 seconds. If Javelin Toss travels more than 1000 units, then it deals 4/4.5/5/5.5/6%(+2% per 100AP) of the target's current health as bonus magic damage.
Bite (Q): Cooldown: 6 seconds; Range: 125 units
Nidalee bites the target enemy, causing it to bleed for 4 seconds, dealing 60/100/140/180(+100%AP) magic damage over the duration. If the struck target had Cougar Strike on it, then Cougar Strike is consumed and the bleed deals true damage instead of magic damage.
Trip Wire (W): Cooldown: 14/13/12/11/10 seconds; Cost: 80/90/100/110/120 mana; Range: 1000 units
1st Cast: Nidalee tosses a javelin to the target location, damaging enemies it passes through for 40/55/70/85/100(+40%AP) magic damage that remains in play for 6 seconds.
2nd Cast: Within the next 6 seconds, Nidalee tosses another javelin to the target location with a wire connecting to the first javelin, dealing 40/55/70/85/100(+40%AP) magic damage to enemies that it passes through and remaining in play for the remaining duration of the first javelin setting up a trap between them.
If an enemy champion moves through the wire, then they disarm the trap, becoming knocked down, dealt 40/55/70/85/100(+40%AP) magic damage, and are disarmed and slowed by 60/70/80/90/99% for 2 seconds.
(Knocking down means that it stops enemy dashes and similar effects.)
Takedown (W): Cooldown: 6 seconds
Passive: Nidalee moves 40/60/80/100% faster towards the target that set off her Trip Wire.
Active: Nidalee's next melee attack within 2 seconds deals 10/30/50/70(+100%AD)(+50%AP) magic damage, deals double damage against enemies with impaired actions.
Primal Surge (E): Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8 seconds; Cost: 60/75/90/105/120 mana; Range: 700 units
Nidalee heals herself or the target allied champion for 35/50/65/80/95(+40%AP) to 70/100/130/160/190(+80%AP) health based on the target's missing health. Nidalee gains Cougar Surge for 2 seconds upon casting Primal Surge.
Swipe (E): Cooldown: 6/5/4/3 seconds; Range: 300 units / 180 degrees
Nidalee swipes her claws in the target direction, dealing 50/75/100/125(+45%AP) magic damage to struck enemies, this deals double damage if Nidalee had Cougar Surge.
Aspect of the Cougar (R): Cooldown: 3 seconds
Human Form: Swap to Cougar Form, lose 450 attack range, and gain new abilities.
Cougar Form: Swap to Human Form, gain 450 attack range, and gain new abilities.
(Cougar Form abilities scale with ranks into Aspect of the Cougar.)
