Sigh... Hi Riot... Me again... (Malphite)

So see there's this huge guy who's awesome. He looked cool at first but then well Riot happened. And bunch of cool shit was released so now he kinda looks well... (insert what ever you want) bad... I mean Riot Iron side cool idea. Glacial, loved it Obsidian? Yeah (How about a tectonic Malphite I mean that's even more Malphite than a big chunk of ice... See first of all, Ok I get I he a huge lumbering giant but let's look at what you've touched on. Malphite is what basically equates to an earth elemental... First thing's first, they're true form is in what ever land they are in. That means as long as there's land mass they have size. So that's not something for him (kinda works with the theory that in the Riot fiction the Academy's Tournament of Champions or what the hell ever is basically that worlds soccer. I'd assume that many of the champions powers are limited by the tournament's over seer's and are actually much stronger (in some cases Cosmic Like Arulean Sol, or Of something related to the very nature of the universe like how our idea of death is really our observation of entropy in our own living system, as is the Manifestation of Death on Rune Terra, Kindred. You really think an ninja is actually a threat to the very force of nature that controls what that being attempts to command? Really? So that's where I draw that conclusion) So anyways, back to old malphite so He's this being that's a spirit entity that represents the essential nature of the solid principle of the old magical thinking. I get he's big, so fast? maybe not, but agile? Why does he have to be slow and lumbering, he can hurl him self down a quarter mile faster than a mustang.... He should probably have running on his hands and feet down for HIS weight, and density. I'd say look at how the hulk runs short powerful legs, big long arms (I mean able to move fast enough to slide through turns so why couldn't the big guy be fast and still a wrecker. Movement speed buffs would make him more formidable with out really adding a whole lot to his kit.) Secondly, Why isn't the big guy... Well, big? I've been saying for years, literally years, that he's too small. I was on the Beta forums (I mean league beta) about it but he was never really addressed, no spotlight, nothing, hardly a lore really. Dude He's made in what ever form he chooses to be in He's rock gathered together to hold his form actually, he's not a creature that evolved from another form. So I don't think he'd pick a form of movement so restrictive, or size so diminutive. Perhaps the shape of the form he has because he likes it, like it's fun (he's an "earth" elemental so death isn't really a thing either right? Wouldn't his "kind" just go back to ground?) I'm sure he could take the form of some eastern -esque figure that could work, like a big old walking Buddha, or some thing. And if any of the ideas about RuneTerra's version of an "earth" elemental I've put forward fit him, then I'd ask why doesn't Malphite have a Dark star, or black hole skin, or even some kind of neutron star skin. Think of it like this. An Earth elemental is a being comprised of all of the structures and forms of what is possible in the cosmos. The denser the form, the more solid it is, and according to the idea that an earth elemental is of these very forces them selves, the living embodiment of what makes hard so damned hard. I would argue that a form that takes on the qualities of one of these forms are a Segway into a cosmic malphite kind of skin, or even rework. Think on it, give him some new tires guys please?
