Teamward -- instant information about current game
(disclaimer: I work for Riot, but this app has nothing to do with my job. All my opinions are belong to me.)
Teamward is an Android app giving information about your current game -- it's in beta and I'm looking for feedback! Download link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fr.neamar.lolgamedata
So... one hundred websites are already giving information on the current game, why a new one? And why on a phone?
- Premade information. So... the jungler and the toplaner are playing together? Might be worth warding a little more than usual. Unless you play Illaoi. In which case, just wait for them and DOUBLE KILL.
- Push notification directly on the device. While you're admiring the loading screen, your phone has all the information pushed in real time (before the game really starts). And if you don't use the notification, it silently disappears at the end of the game so you're not spammed. It's easy to forget to check and get wrecked by this diamond guy in a bronze premade. AFAIK this is the only app out there with this feature.
- ** Champion mastery information**. Most websites just display average KDA, but there is a huge difference between a first-time Yasuo and a 300k masteries Yasuo.
- Tips. Full AP team? Ten games in less than a day and 9 defeats? Double smite? No flash?
- Previous build. That's a Teemo AD (Season 3 called. They want their Teemo back)
- Good counters that you play. Drafting against something you're not familiar? Only see champions that you actually play in this lane, ordered by winrate.
I'm looking for feedback on the app -- missing features or improvements. Or comments on the code. Or anything remotely related to the app.
Finally, the client and the server are open-source: https://github.com/Neamar/teamward-server, and there is no ads or nothing on the app. Just pure League.
One last disclaimer: premade information might be inaccurate, and is based on previous games played with the same summoners. Unless you're master+, they should be 99% accurate -- and if you're challenger, you play solo anyway)
