[Champion Concept] Schuit, The Summoner

(Pronounced Shoo it)

I've been thinking over new concepts of champions, and just began thinking, What if the next champion, was one of the summoners themselves? From what I understand, all major political decisions on Valoran are decided by the outcome of the contests that take place in the battle arenas, a summoner is the key force of change on the continent. As the summoner controls the champion in combat, the summoner also influences the outcome of the match through the use of summoner spells, and map awareness Upon winning, the summoner gets influence points.

What if one of the political figures, for one reason or another, was banned from the 'League of Summoners' and was pulled into the battlefield himself? Perhaps in every game someone choses him, the lore goes, "through his own magic, he replaces the champion the summoner had ideally wanted, with himself in an effort to become a summoner again.

(My version of the lore can be found at the bottom)

As for it's role: Defense: Medium-low, as he hasn't had experience fighting himself, but has been telepathically linked to summoners, and knows the drill Attack: Low, as he doesn't have much muscle Spells: Very High, this guy has used summoner spells most of his life Difficulty: Medium (skillshot, target select, and multiple characters to control)

Based upon these stats, and what we know about summoners I'd determine, A summoner would best act as a champion if he were played as either a Support, or an AP carry.

As For the skills (to be changed at will by riot)

Passive: I am a summoner!: Increases resistance to summoner spells (ignite has 30% less (of it's current number) healing reduction, exhaust reduces damage by 15% less (of current number)

Q: Empowered Ignite: (single target select) Because the champion is on the field, his Ignite is much stronger, dealing x damage instantly and x damage over 5 seconds (x's to be filled in by riot) and reducing incoming healing for 3/4/5/6/7 Seconds

W: Exhausting Smite (aoe skillshot) Deals x damage in an increasing size based on skill level (+20% damage to minons) and (+0/0/0/5%/10% damage to champions, also applies a 15% slow on champions movement speed)

E: I summon thee: Summons a champion. (similar to Azir's Sand soldier in size) Due to Schuit concentrating on the fight at hand, his champions don't stay as long as they were if he were in a room with other summoners. The champion will adhere to the summoner (Alt+Click) and last for about 8/10/12/14/16 seconds with a cooldown of 28/24/20/18/14 With enough CDR, there is a possibility of having 2 champions summoned for a short time (all summoned follow the Alt+Click as one). If an enemy kills the champion, the cooldown is increased by 10/9/8/7/6 seconds (doubled if more than one are killed) Champions' duration is cut in half when in range of an active enemy turret [Stats are based off of Schuit's mana]

R: Enough of this! (or summoner's sight): Schuit gets frustrated by the fog of war, he the reveals the entire map for 3/5/7 seconds (basically how TwistedFate ult works, except granting vision of nexus, inhibitors, towers, and jungle camps. (as an easter egg, having it used in timing with Nocturne's ult restores vision to what it normally is, and have the summoner's voice taunt nocturne from across the map saying "I've seen your tricks Nocturne!" (similar to how everyone hears "DARKNESS")) Ult Passive: increases passive sight range by x/x/x units. Units outside of site range that can't see him will display a marker above their head (no markers displayed if he is hidden in bush)

The ultimate does allow vision into bushes, but it does NOT allow vision of invisible champs (hooray for Evelynn!) This ultimate will also help junglers make note of which enemy camps are empty, and updates your map to missing camps.

As an enemy to Schuit, the contrast will increase a bit when he ults, or a light will appear around his screen, similar to how a red one appears when attacked.

And of course the look will be That of which we've seen from summoners in the first league video: http://img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100816174916/leagueoflegends/images/b/b2/Summoners.png

Lore: (Riot may change this at will to better suit their accuracy)

They Dare kick ME out of the Summoner's League? Me! of all people? I've spent years building my influence, increasing my champion pool, I myself have changed the continent! Sure, a few select champions aren't too fond of me, what, with a poorly timed heal, or not using an ignite... That's their own fault for bratting on about me stealing their glory by taking the kill from them! Very well then, I'll play their little game. Let's see how they like it when I replace their favored champion with myself! I've seen the rift through the eyes of others, as if i've been there myself. I know for a fact I can handle this. Maybe through enough, i'll once again become an official league summoner. After that, there will be hell to pay, I'll be changing the fate of the entirety of Runeterra!

Bonus: Lucky Charm Schuit Squeezed the arrowhead that he wore around his neck, it was still cold, as it was the day he first demonstrated his summoning ability, and summoned Ashe. As a present, she gifted him with a frozen arrowhead, supposedly she had kept it since she had first used her bow. To be given this was a complete honor, and he has happily declared it his good luck charm. He now squeezes it as a reminder of who he was, and what he fights for. To once again be in the league of summoners. As Schuit tucks the arrowhead away, he works his summoning magic, and once again substitutes himself for a champion in summoners rift. "Off to battle I go".

Friends: Ashe Ashe was the first champion Schuit was able to summon, as such, he has always been fond of her. Sona Schuit was very happy to learn that he could communicate with sona, and enjoyed her personality and love of helping others.

Rivals: Tryndamere For obvious reasons involving Ashe, Schuit is jealous of Tryndamere, and has always refused to summon him. Brand Brand has never been a fan of summoners, and was quite the difficult partner when Schuit decided to summon him.

Please, let me hear your thoughts about this! Good idea? Bad idea? I'm open to criticism!

Another thing is, Ever since seeing the first League of legends video, that actually shows the summoners, i've wanted to see them more often, Now, I can easily see them making a video of a really pissed off summoner. As a different summoner goes to summon someone, say thresh, You see Schuit cast a spell, and he replaces Thresh! Or something along those lines, point is, I could easily see league make a new video about summoners! =D

I like this guy, but I feel as if he'd do good top lane, with a role similar to a mix of Brand and Mordo (with the champ minions). Quick question, how does his ult work? Is a random champ summoned with base stats? Is it someone not in the game only?
