Once forced to draft the yearly almanacs from his knowledge of weather and climate after one correct weather prediction overhead by a an Noxian military commander. He began to enjoy it as he gained the protection from a band of person guards… as long as he keep accurately predicting the weather. For his forced conscription, he was granted a unused sword plundered from previous conquest.

One day, a small fleet of warships were bound to travel with Xavhorn to determine if the weather would allow it, he predicted only clouds, but a terrible storm came instead. The dark skies seeming to follow the ships no matter which way the traveled, even turning around for a brief moment to avoid the storm. At the call of the ships captain’s to return to port and travel the next day, they begin to return. As they neared home, with the storm still following, a single Electric bolt traveled down and chained from ship to ship, causing all warships to sink. As the bolt hit, he clutched his sword.

Being only a few hundred meters from port, many of the Noxian warriors aboard the ships made it, including Xavhorn. He was immediately surround and was going to be executed for his ill prediction, as the sword sparked with great energy, traveled underground and exploded a small area. All the would be executions were electrocuted, not harming Xavhorn, stunning them long enough for him to get up and fight on his own two feet.

#Abilities

##PASSIVE: Eternal Spark Spell Modifier | On Spell Mark / Auto Attack Modifier / On Hit Self Heal Radius: 125 Cooldown: None

Xavhorn sword, Sunder’s Vain, keeps an eternal spark within it. Xavhorn’s abilities are enhanced by this spark with its’ power shooting out of it. When Xavhorn cast an ability, its targeted area, or starting location and ending location will deal additional 8% / 12% / 16% / 20% of the total damage in magic damage in a smaller radius at the center of those locations, with the eternal spark releasing greater energy there.

Additionally, when Xavhorn is in those specific areas as the spell travels, he gains the mark of Sparked, and his next auto attack will deal additional 8% / 12% / 16% / 20% of the total damage in non physical magic damage, consuming the mark and healing him for the same amount. Multiple applications of Sparked do not stack.

##Q: Wraith Strike Ground Targeted Area of Effect | On Spell Mark Range: 600 Radius: 300 / 500 Projectile Width: 100 Projectile Speed: 1600 Cooldown: 12 / 11 / 10 / 9 / 8 seconds Cost: 40 / 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 Casting Time: .25 seconds Interrupts Movement: No

Xavhorn projects a small portion of the eternal spark towards a nearby ground area, damaging all enemy units in the area for 60 / 90 / 120 / 150 / 180 (+70% AP) in magic damage. All enemy units damaged this way are marked with Sunder’s Wraith for 2.0 / 2.25 / 2.5 / 2.75 / 3.0 seconds.

Xavhorn’s auto attacks against units marked with Sunder’s Wraith chain 30% / 35% / 40% / 45% / 50% of its damage, including additional damage and healing from attacks from his Sparked mark, to all other marked units with Sunder’s Wraith within a medium area, prioritizing champions and consuming the mark.

##W: Occluded Path Vector Targeted Linear Area of Effect | Area of Effect Self Buff Vector Range: 800 Area Length: 600 Area Width 350 Cooldown: 10 / 9.5 / 9 / 8.5 / 8 Cost: 65 / 70 / 75 / 80 / 85 Casting Time: .5 seconds Interrupts Movement: No

Xavhorn spikes Sunder’s Vain into the ground, allowing some of the energy to travel underground a medium distance away, then after a brief delay, popping out of the ground and traveling a straight path creating a section of the ground buzzing with energy.

As the path is created, enemy units in the area are damaged for 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 + (+20% AP) in magic damage, with a minor crackle of energy. If Xavhorn is in the area when this pulse happens he gains 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 movement speed for .75 seconds.

After .75 seconds, it erupts again, this time much more violent, dealing 45 / 60 / 75 / 90 / 105 damage (+60% AP) in magic damage with a large crackle of energy to all enemy units in the area. If Xavhorn is in the area when this larger pulse happens, he gains 45 / 60 / 75 / 90 / 105 movement speed for .75 seconds.

Total Maximum Damage: 60 / 80 / 100 / 120 / 140 (+80% AP) in magic damage

##E: Equal Discharge Stock | Self Targeted Buff on Spells Being Cast / On Spell Hit | Ground Area of Effect Via Unit Targeted Stock Count: 5 Radius: 1000 / 250 Recharge Rate: Per Spell Cast Near / On Spell Hit Static Cooldown: 5.0 seconds Range: 600 Projectile Speed: 1500 Cost: 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 / 50 Casting Time: .5 seconds Interrupts Movement: No

Passive The eternal spark reacts to it’s environment. Every time a spell is cast near Xavhorn (1000 units), the eternal spark energizes and gains a stock for Equal Discharge up to a maximum of 5 stocks. He also gains 2 stocks every time he is damaged by an ability.

Dispersing the excess energy over Xavhorn, he gains additional 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 Magic Resist and Armor per stock in Equal Discharge, with this energy creating a light force field around him.

Maximum Armor and Magic Resist: 5 / 10 / 15 / 20 / 25

Active Xavhorn raises his left gauntlet and discharges a majority of the excess energy, targeting up to 5 different unique enemy units in the area, prioritizing enemy champions. Enemy units targeted this way have a small ball of condensed energy fired at their location, each dealing 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 (+35% + 5% AP per stock in Equal Discharge) in magic damage.

Casting this ability grants Xavhorn the Mark of Sparked.

Maximum Single Target Damage: 50 / 75 / 100 / 125 / 150 (+60% AP) in magic damage

  • Xavhorn start the game and each respawn with 0 stocks
  • Each targeted unit leaves a individual inner radius for the additional damage from Eternal Spark

##R: Sunder Surge Two Step Cast | Linear Pass Through Skillshot / Inverse Conic Area of Effect | On Spell Debuff / Effect Range: 1200 Projectile Speed: 800 Projectile Width: 100 Cooldown: 110 / 100 / 90 seconds Cost: 100 Casting Time: 1.0 seconds (First Cast) / .5 seconds (Second Cast) Interrupts Movement: Yes (Each Cast)

First Cast Xavhorn swings a doubled handed overhead strike while projecting the eternal spark within Sunder’s Vain in high swirling column along the ground in a line. Each time Sunder Surge damages any enemy unit, including enemy minions, it forks and creates additional bolts of equal size (of 100 units) to the left and right of the line, dealing 75 / 150 / 225 (+20% AP) in magic damage. Units damage by the surge become Brittle for 3.0 seconds.

Xavhorn may recast Sunder Surge for additional effects within 1.5 seconds.

Second Cast Xavhorn points Sunder’s Vain towards the Sunder Surge, forcing the surge to return back to the sword, converging its’ travel path as it returns. Enemy units in the return surge are damaged for 100 / 200 / 300 (+60% AP) in magic damage and are stunned for 1.0 / 1.5 / 2.0 seconds.

Total Maximum Damage: 175 / 350 / 525 (+80% AP) in magic damage

#Trivia

The gauntlet on Xavhorn’s left hand was uniquely crafted to help control and disperse the additional charge from Sunder’s Vain, in addition to providing an option to hook and trap the enemies’ weapons behind them.

I don't see why the Q needs to specify that it "prioritizes champions" if it just applies to every enemy with a mark on it. It sounds like it would apply to champions either way.

So, for the Q, would Xavhorn's location on casting be considered a "starting location" with relation to the passive, or just the location where the spark actually lands?

Similar question, for the W is Xavhorn's location the "starting location", or is the spot where the spark comes out of the ground considered the "starting location"? Also, is it just this starting location and the end of the linear AoE that do the extra AoE damage from the passive, or does the passive apply to every point along the line?

Do stocks of Equivalent Energy last until Xavhorn uses his E, or do they decay over time? Also, when you say he "discharges a majority of the excess energy", does that mean he uses up all of the stocks, or does he keep 1 or 2 if he has the 5 maximum stocks? Also, I'm assuming the "force field" created by the stocks is what gives him the additional Armor and MR? Or does he also gain a shield that absorbs a certain amount of damage?

Finally, same question for R as for Q and W: what's considered the "start" and "end" points with relation to the Passive? I assume that on the first cast the start is where his sword lands, but are each of the impact points treated as "end/start" points, or is it just the final ending points when the surge finally stops? Same question for the second cast, I assume that the "start" is at the final tips of the surge and the end is at Xavhorn's blade, but what about the connecting points in between?

Overall I really like this champion. I'm not too good with the actual numbers, but those seem fine so far.

I do feel like the Equivalent Energy forcefield should do something a bit different. It's supposed to be made out of electricity, right? So maybe in addition to increasing Armor/MR, it could maybe deflect a small portion of damage that he does take from melee basic attacks back onto the attacker (like electricity travelling through the metal blade of a sword and shocking the holder), and maybe even arc some lightning back at enemies who basic attack from within a certain range, say 250-300 units. Wouldn't want it to travel too far, but it still just seems more appropriate to the "electricity" theme to at least do a little bit of that. And maybe after a certain number of basic attacks that cause this return-shock, one or more of the stocks of Equivalent Energy gets "used up" and goes away, just to balance it a little so he doesn't become permanently untouchable. But that's up to you, the champion looks great with or without it.

Anyways, very good job, looks like a very interesting champion. Keep up the good work :)

Ok so I just did a brief look over this guy and one thing that stands out to me is the fact that he has no mobility except for what seems to be a difficult to trigger speed boost primary used to run people down. This means that the idea to make him a "over extension" seems kind of hard. Some champs like udyr, garen, and singed come to mind as people that go in without any gap closer, but they each have easier ways to get in (udyr/singed passive, garen tenacity and ms buff), so it may be a problem.

Overall, looks great from a first pass standpoint.
