Automated Item Sets

I am a big fan of item sets, but as I get better at the game I start to realize that many of the items I have in my item sets don't work and shouldn't be there. I also start to build items that aren't on the sets, and this process continues until I start typing in the shop to find all the items, which defeats the purpose of item sets.

So I got thinking, what if RIOT made an algorithm that made item sets as you play champions across multiple games? Items that you frequently build could be shown in a "Preferd items" category in the recommendations tab for a specific champion, making it easy to buy items you like. I think this small convenience would just be a cool concept.
