So, how WOULD Riot give Udyr a visual update?
I mean, what could they do to give the Spirit Walker a visual update without just making it Spirit Guard?

normal skins could be dirtier and more primal/angry
spirit guard would give him a sort of zen i guess. give it more lines than his base, more interactions, etc
His design is fine, it just need to be animated better.
Right now his animations feel cluckly and there is no natural motion to it. Like he in base stance then the next second his arm is fully extended for the punch, then he back to basic state with no in-between.
Spirit Guard on the other hand has that motion: You see the arms and the body moving with the attack it feels natural. THAT is what his classic needs in an update.
He doesn't he a visual update, he need an animation update.

They need better animations that feel more animal kung-fu ish and higher polygon models. Also, Turtle should be an actual turtle shell, similar to Roshi, and Pheonix should be a head dress in the default skin.
More than anything though, Udyr desparately needs a kit update. He's fallen so far behind other junglers.
