Champion concept - Al'ak The adapted one
On start I'll say, that im from poland, so english is my second language. I posted this champin idea on polish forum years ago (like 2 or 3 to be specific) but i've recived verry little feedback

Lore Al'ak was Monster born in heart of Void. At the begginig of chaos. Despite all other monsters trying to be as deadly as possible. Al'ak remained calm and rational. He never wanted to be most powerfulll, never went on a bloodthirsty rampage, and most importantly never was even close to dying. After all these years, after centuries in void he could just instantly adapt to ANY possible situation. He had a plan ready for every foe possible. he fought agains monsters with claws, with magical abilities, those who were faster than sound or bigger than mountain. Yet only thing he wants is peaceful survival.
His base appearance is honestly kinda boring i imagine him as quadpedal creature, that has a possibility to move on 2 legs.kinda like a gorrila. With thick, purple skin (its a void creature). Passive - Adaptation Al'ak stores information on damage he takes from champions (in precentages) he gains 15 (+5 pre level) points of resistance. it is divided the same way as the stored damage taken.
-so when he's against ap based champion, his passive will grant him bonus MR. But when enemy is pure AD i will only give him armor, beacuse damage he took from champions is 100% phisycal. It Adapts to enemy's damage
[Q] Corrosive spit: Cost 80/75/70/65/60 CD 8 seconds Al'ak prepares a corrosive attack, slowing himself down by 20% (still can use skills and attack) for minimum of 2 sec. For up to 4 seconds he can reactivate this ability to spit corrosive ball that deals 55/80/105/130/155 (+ 60% AP) magic damage and slows the target hit by 30% for 3 seconds Range 800 speed 1400
[W] Chomp Cost: 30 CD 7/6/5/4/3 Al'ak's Next Basic attack within 4 seconds deals bonus physical damage equal to 20/35/50/65/80 (+25% AD, +40% AP) plus 3/3.5/4/4.5/5% of enemy's HP (max 120 vs monsters) and heals himself for 60/70/80/90/100% of total damage dealt
- resets autoattack timer
[E] Devastation: Cost 90 CD 18/16/14/12/10 Al'ak Charges pushing hit opponents to the sides and dealing them 80/120/160/200/140 (+ 7/8/9/10/11% of your max. HP, + 40% AD) physical damage range 800. speed 2400

This ability is ... specific. at 1st and 2nd level, you don't gain the activated ability, but passive effect (like
selects upgrate), which defines your playstyle.
The're visible as active buffs, so anyone can read about al'ak's choises during match.
First Level Choices
Element: fire
- Your Q 's range increases to 1300 and changes intro Firey, line AoE ability (
Q). - When you damage enemy with an ability you recover 10 mana, reduce your cooldownd by 0.8 sec and Apply a 90 (+30% AP) burn over 3 sec Change in appearance: His Back, mouth and stomach glows
Element: Frenzy -Grants Al'ak 20 lethality and Magic penetration -after casting an ability your next autoattack becomes a leap with 575 units range (like
) and deals additional 40 (+40% AD) physical damage -halves cooldown of Devastation Change in appearance: Long claws ant fangs. Almost horror-like
Element: resolve
- Al'ak's Attacks cleave for 40% of their damage. (range is around 300, so its similar to
) - Devastation pins first enemy hit and pushes it untill the end of charge (As reinhardt from Overwatch), if you hit your enemy against the wall it will be stunned for 2 seconds and take damage again -ANY damage Al'ak deals to non-champions doubles (includes Demolish, smite, cleave) Change in appearance: Gets bulkier, Grows Tusks
second level Choices
Survival: Shadows
- gain 80 Out of combat(5 sec) Movement speed
- after you dont take any damage for 10 sec. gain spell shield (like Banshee's) -after shield breaks gain 40% increased movement speed and Unstopable for 2 sec. Change in appearance: the whole character is darker and slicker
Survival: Lifeforce
- gain 15% increased health -heal for 20% of damage dealt
- every time you recover health (in any way) allies in range of 1000 recive 25% of this healing Change in appearance: Whole character is green and gains shell-like carapace
Survival: Change
- doubles you passive -biger part of the resistance you gain from your passive is increased by 20% -You gain 50% damage ressistance that drops by 10% for each 0.8 second in combat Change in appearance: gains armor plates in color coresponding to resistance. they become darker when in combat bonus drops if enemy team is pure AD, then you can reach about 240 armor without items
Third level Choices These are the active abilities
Toxicity cost 100 CD 90 For 8 secondsDeals 150 (+ 35% AP) and 1% of enemy's HP as magic damage per second in a 400 radius. Slows enemies, and reduces their damage dealt by 10% stacking up to 4 times Change in appearance: littke geysers leaking green vapor appear on his back
Tremors Cost 40 CD 16 Stomps the ground, and creates a 150 radius impulse, that deals 300 (+80%AP +80% AD) roots enemies fot 1 second and reduces their resistances by 40 Range 1400 Change in appearance: back limbs become bright brown/yellow and expand in size
The fourth choice
Symbiosis cost 30 CD 20 when activated, makes Scryer's Blooms' (vision plant) effect in chosen direction Pasively upgrades your trinket:
Can see Invisible enemies, Sees through Walls and bushes, Vision presists for 10 sec. after being destroyed
Unlimited range. cooldown set to 40 sec(normaly, at 16 lvl it is 110 sec.)
Becomes Permanent Change in appearance: grows Scryer's Blooms on its back
Soo.... Kinda a lot to talk about.... Like how do you even play this champion? And the anwser is simple. How you want:
Wanna go assasin? Frenzy, Shadow, Tremors! You are hard to disengage, mobile assasin with root and slow. Pick up Dark harvest and slay some squishies You can pick Symbiosis to wander with oracle and ignore wards,
Tank? No problem Resolve, Lifeforce, Toxicity! Engage, Apply this sweet 40% slow for 8 second and watch as Soraka heals you and HERSELF beacuse of split healing on lifeforce while you dance on enemy's corpses. Or just switch resolve to frenzy for a bruiser
You dont like mele? Just pick Fire bro Add lifeforce to baisicly become a healer. and Tremors to combo it up or Symbiosis to get full-map vision
You can baisicly play at any position
Now i want to say that i really want to get some good Feedback on this. I'll probably adjust the numbers multiple times beacuse it is really hard to balance this champon properly without any possibility to playtest it. Whole Theme was actualy based around dehaka's lore from starcraft and i wanted to create a very customizable champion, it was an idea i got when i was theorycrafting about HOTS and its talent system.
