Teammate replacement
So i had a thought about the /remake, and how about instead of remaking the game. it tries to find a player willing to take the disconnected players place.

To do that they have to change the entire champion selection system and the other team will be way ahead even if a new player joins anyway

But then you'll have problems with the new player finding a role to fit in as well as levelling issues. It really is a bit better to start the game out from scratch so everyone's on the same page before things get serious.
