Hey guys, im Azzilin, your average League player with a dream and fascination for Shurima. I feel like Shurima has much more depth and fantasy behind it, and its legendary military power inspired me. Azir had to have some help leading a massive empire, right? Couldnt do it by himself! :). Feel free to leave any feedback, negative or positive. Im open to all ideas and changes you see fit for Karax. I want him to be an AD split pusher/ duelist, and thats the playstyle I feel he could use. If you have any ideas or would like to help with art, id be more than happy to talk to you! Shoot me an email @ [email protected] or add me on skype- avoidcosmic

Karax was the ancient lieutenant of Azir, Shurimas mightiest emperor. Karax was Azirs most trusted assistant, and was placed in control of the strongest legions of Shurima during times of war. As Karax led the fierce army of Shurima, he came upon the hardest, most grueling bloody battle. Noxus, had arrived. The Noxian forces were strong, relentless and brutal, but the soldiers of Shurima were disciplined into battle hardened warriors. Under Karax's leadership, his warriors fought fiercely against the abomination of Noxus, and through a long, grinding battle, the army of Shurima remained unresting. Victory was approaching, for either side. The army of Shurima advanced, decimating the Noxian forces without mercy. At last, the Noxian leaders signaled for retreat, and Shurima had won the day.

Passive- Shurimas Sands. Karaxs resource draws from the sands of Shurima. This resource can be used on abilities to empower their effects, and adding % health(2%-8% depending on champion level) magic damage to each ability, scaling on his AD.

Q-Sharpened Sands- Karax commands a hardened sand projectile(skillshot) at his enemy, stunning them and dealing 90/115/130/150 physical damage + .8 of AD. CD 8/7/6/5/4 generates 45 Shuriman Sand.

W-Deadly Lunge- Karax lunges with his polearm at his opponent, dealing 110/130/150/170 physical damage + .75 of AD. CD 5/4/3/2 Generates 30 Shuriman Sand

E-Empower- Passive- Karax empowers his polearm, making them do 30/45/60/75 more physical damage. CD 15/12/10/10

R-Duplication- Karax creates a figure of sand that follows his opponent, and mirrors his attacks, dealing the same amount of damage as he does and applying on hit affects. CD 120/100/80/60

What roles do you believe he should be played? I could see Toplane and mid. Might need some tweaking and nerfs to some moves, but besides that, GJ!

In my opinion, your concept is very lackluster because it doesn't add anything to the game that league doesnt already have. Your WE combo is exactly like jax's QW combo (his W is called empower also), and your Q is different mechanically but used in the same way: prep the stun then jump in to combo them, only exchanging attack speed for max health damage. Your ult is a decent take on a clone, but it falls short of a lieutenant fantasy because, as I understand it, just doubles your damage.

Nothing about this kit makes it feel like id be playing a military commander. In order to flesh out the character, you need to have unique mechanics or unique playstyle: can he create his own army or empower his allies to become his army? Maybe make a clone of every nearby ally for a few seconds that can be commanded to move in unison with another ability. Does he charge ahead of his soldiers or order them to create openings for him? Maybe he needs flanking tools, gaining bonuses for striking opponents from different angles. Is he cavalry like a general, or infantry like a footsoldier? Maybe he's riding around on something and uses his mount in his abilities.

All in all, military commander already moves dangerously close into azir's gameplay territory, so youd need some super iconic ability to focus on that sets him apart. At the moment I just see a mixing and matching of already existing abilities.

I love lore, so I read these concepts for it.

That being said, I believe Azir already had a trusted assistant. His name is Xerath, he was Azir's best friend as well. Then he betrays him and becomes the mid laner we know of today.
