Heteret, the Bound
Lore
Heteret were an army of two for their homeland. They were able to take on any force that opposed them. They were treated as gods when they ruled, until one of the two decided that they had to leave. The other alone could not defend its homeland from the onslaught of enemies they had, sometimes barely able to survive. Their home was destroyed, along with all who worshipped them. As years passed, the one who stayed to defend their home grew restless. It set off to find its friend, wandering along every land. Eventually, it found its companion. But someting was different. The buddy it once knew had vanished, leaving a soulless husk. The defender's friend's spirit had inhabited the body in an attempt to keep it alive, but time was running out for it. The only way to keep it alive was to merge together. When they did, extinction followed. Everything on the planet was destroyed but those two, now one, creature. They spoke to eachother in their minds, wondering if it was the right thing to do. The defender had blamed the retreater for everything that had happened, and the retreater agreed with its friend. It promised to never leave its side again. And a new era of life awakened at that promise.
Abilities
Passive - Brotherhood: Heteret is consisted of two champions. Defender is melee while Retreater is ranged. Instead of an energy source, they have a timer that limits how long each of them can stay composed on the battlefield. They are only on the battlefield one at a time. If either of the champions are slain, the champion that would have returned at the end of the timer instantly returns, and gains a stress meter. This causes the champion that has stress to take more damage the higher the meter is. The champion slain will respawn and take the stressed one's place. If both champions are slain, they will respawn at the fountain. Defender is tankier and can protect itself and its team. Retreater is faster and deals more damage, but is quite squishy. Buying items that enhance defense are split among both champions. 75% to Defender and 25% to Retreater. Items that increase damage effect both sides as well. 25% to Defender and 75% to Retreater. (This includes ability power, lethality, and magic pen.) Mana items will increase the amount of time each champion can be active before having to rest. Movement items are not split.
Q - Unbreaking Will/Soul Swipe: While Defender is active, it will fire a skillshot that damages all enemies it passes through for 40/50/60/70/80 (30% physical damage 30% ap) damage and gain 10/20/30/40/50 armor and 5/10/15/20/25 magic resist for 3 seconds. While Retreater is active, it will target an enemy and take 2/4/6/8/10% (3% physical damage 3% ap)of the enemy's current health and convert it into an empowered basic attack that has additional damage based on the amount of health stolen. If more than 20/60/100/140/180 health is stolen, it will also heal Retreater for 20/60/100/140/180 health.
W - Cowards!/Coward: While Defender is active, it will deal more damage to enemies running away from it. Activating this ability causes it to rush up and stun an enemy champion for .5 seconds, dealing 30/45/60/75/90 (50% physical damage 50% ap) damage, which is doubled if the enemy is running away. While Retreater is up, it will deal more damage while running from an enemy. Activating this ability allows it to use any attacks while moving and continue moving for a duration of 5/5.5/6/6.5/7 seconds.
E - Torch/Shroud - While Defender is active, it will set an area in front of it ablaze, dealing 30/40/50/60/70 (70% physical damage 70% ap) damage per second for 4 seconds. While Retreater is active, it will create an area of shadow around it, limiting enemies' sight range and slowing by 20/25/30/35/40% for seven seconds. Abilities used on enemies in this area have their cooldowns reduced by 75%.
R - Merge: Defender and Retreater combine to gain the bonuses of both champions (health, damage, armor, etc.) and allows the summoner to switch between both champions' abilities by pressing the r key again for 11/13/15 seconds.
