[Champ Concept] Kopat, The Blind Artist
We Need More Yordles and we need a new jungler. Why not both? Introducing Kopat the Blind Artist. Now I made a model of a very rough concept, but 3d modeling really isn't my thing, I just wanted to be taken seriously, so I wanted to add more proof of concept.
Kopat Concept Art. I'm sorry I tried
Abilities:
- Passive: Due to being a mole and also being blind, Kopat has a slightly lower vision radius than other champions, but receives tremor sense. Some of Kopat's abilities work off of paint (replaces mana bar). Kopat can only carry so much paint before he must refuel at either base, or areas around the map.
Q: Kopat digs a trap that is marked with an "X" that pitfalls (stun) and enemy when stepped over. Consumes Paint. When Burrowed, Kopat digs a pitfall underneath an area causing an AoE pitfall. Does not Consume Paint
W: Kopat hurles a paintball that is a single target (prioritizes champs), deals damage, and blind whomever is hit. Consumes Paint When Burrowed, Kopat throws a paint bomb into the air, (like a mini ziggs ult) dealing damage and an AoE blind. Consumes Paint
E: When used, all Q's placed on the map become tunnels for a short amount of time before disappearing permanetly. Within a short range, Kopat can travel to one tunnel. Does not Consume Paint. When Burrowed, Kopat has no range on his tunnel traveling, but once he travels, he becomes unburrowed, keeps any remaining paint, and his ultimate goes on cooldown.
R: [Requires at least 90% of maximum Paint] Kopat burrows underground, changing his abilities (seen above). While underground his vision is reduced slightly more than usual [Tremor Sense still applies]. Paint is consumed the further Kopat travels. Once his paint runs out, he returns to the surface.
Overall, Kopat has a plethora of diversity as well as intended mastery. Learning how to micromanage his paint, when and if to used his ult for map traveling, where his traps should be, and when to use them, all create a champion that will have high risk, high reward. Players who take time to master him will love the diversity he brings to the table, whereas beginner may struggle at first, but understand concepts with practice.
EDIT: I wanted to put hands on the model, but hands are realllllllly hard, so just imagine there are hands. I'll see what I can learn
