Authenticator for League?

I was thinking about the security of my account and thought that like many other games I feel like League could benefit from having an authenticator. A physical one would be cool, your favorite champ on your authenticator. You could also have the option that if you're using the LoL Friends app that could act as a mobile authenticator much like the blizzard one. Just a thought that I had, can't imagine it would be too difficult to get going and this is the time for change right?
