Braxton - The Wandering Adventurer

Okay, so when I'm bored, I try to think up new skill mechanics, then try to just make a champion off of that. So this one I was thinking a fun kiting, mobile champion that has the ability to loop around targets. Here is the champion I came up with using that mechanic. I've looked as some of the ideas on this board, and I'm not even gonna try balancing or putting in numbers because I would be way off. Here he is. Yes, I did make it pretty much Indiana Jones, but come on, who else is as badass as Indy with a whip?

Braxton The Wandering Adventurer

Marksman - Ranged ADC

Passive – Perception – Can sense went a hidden ward or trap is near (all traps, wards, etc). Indicated by an eye above Braxton. (Range ?)

He can't actually SEE the trap, but he will know there is one nearby. Not exactly sure what to make the range. I feel it should be small enough he can get a good guess where the hidden object might be, but not too large to have absolutely no idea. I think this would be a good passive to allow for setting up teamfights and make movement around the map with Braxton very interesting, as his indicator continues to go off as he wanders around.

Q – Sydney Flash – Strikes a small targeted aoe and auto attacks all hit targets twice with (5 level scaling) initial damage and (Flat % AD) bonus damage each auto attack. While using Double Whip: Strikes a slightly larger targeted aoe, briefly knocking up all enemy targets then auto attacks all knocked-up targets three times with (5 level scaling) initial damage and (Flat % AD) bonus damage each auto attack.

His main damage spell. A skill shot that targets a small aoe and then quickly attacks the aoe twice. Crits and passives will be applicable. Great with sniping inside brushes or when paired with his ultimate, can devastate a team that is grouped really closely.

W – Firewhip – Engulfs the whip in flames, dealing (5 level scaling) magic damage (FLAT % AP) and slowing the enemy by (5 level scaling %) movement speed on his next auto attack. While using Double Whip: Engulfs the whip in flames, dealing (5 level scaling) magic damage (FLAT % AP) and slowing targets by (5 level scaling %) movement speed in a small aoe splash on his next auto attack.

This gives him a bit of CC to allow for kiting maneuvers. With the slowed movement speed, he can continue auto attacking or E the target and hopefully make his escape. Using W with his ultimate activated, he can pair it with his Q to unleash a killer combo that applies since this skill would act as a passive for his next auto attack, slowing and damaging all inside the Q aoe.

E – Roundabout – Deals (5 level scaling) Initial physical damage + (Flat % AD) and Snares a target (champion, enemy minion, neutral monster) for X seconds and swings 180 degrees from starting position While using Double Whip: Same effect, but cooldown is halved.

This was the main mechanic I was talking 4about. I can see all the craziness happening in the jungle with this ability. Lee sin hit you with a Q? E onto him and loop around to the other side of a cliff. Need to escape a failed teamfight in the jungle? Snag a wraith or golem and high tail it over the wall. The opportunities are endless!

R – Double Whip – Unravels a second whip for a period of time, greatly (increasing attack speed or attack damage? by (3 level scaling)) and granting special attributes to his other skills. Last (3 level scaling) seconds.

Makes him a killing machine, giving him a steroid (still not sure if it should be attack speed or attack damage) and giving his other abilities really cool effects. With this active, he will be a powerhouse in teamfights. But as all ADC's go, he is still squishy and will need to be guarded or have some quick reflexes to slip out of those sticky situations.

So there you have it. My latest thing based on one simple, but fun, mechanic that I would love to see in LoL. Feedback and other ideas is always appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to check this out :)
