Eliana, The Water Nymph - Champion Concept
Lore
Eliana was once a calm and docile sprite content with protecting the purity of her humble lake home. Unfortunately for her the people of Zaun had other ideas in store for her peaceful abode and over the course of centuries of industrial evolution, rendered it inhospitable. With no reasoning left to the protector of this once shimmering locale Eliana has all but lost her sanity and attacks all who disturbed the waters edge. The people of the city fearing the now unrecognizable creature’s malice, took up arms and chased her out using advanced Hextec weaponry. Now without a home and a seething rage inside Eliana has traveled to the League of Legends to unleash her pent up anger on those who fight in the league.

Abilities
Passive – Waters Anger/Blessings (2 parts)
(Part 1) – _Waters Anger _ Each spell you cast applies a mark of Waters Anger/Blessings on enemy champions damaged by that spell your next spell will detonate the mark making it deal 20-150 (Scaling with level) (+15% of ability power) extra magic damage. (cannot effect the same target twice within 10 secs.)
(Part 2) – Waters Blessings Detonating a mark of Waters Anger/Blessings grants Eliana a shield of water for 2 secs. totaling 30-160 (scaling with level) (+10% of ability power). (Cooldown of 10 secs.)
Q – Water Jet
Cost – 20/30/40/50/60 mana Cooldown – 12/11/10/9/8 secs. 40% CDR – 7/7/6/5/5 secs. Range – 550 Units
Eliana turns herself into a jet of water becoming un-targetable and rushes to targeted enemy champion dealing 35/60/85/110/135 (+ 70% of ability power) magic damage. If they are within a whirlpool reduce the cooldown of Water Jet by 50%.
W – Whirlpool
Cost – 40/55/70/85/100 mana Cooldown – 18/16.5/15/13.5/12 secs. 40% CDR – 11/10/9/8/7 secs. Range - 650 Units
Eliana creates a whirlpool after a cast time of 0.25 secs. (visible zone of where it will cast when in this cast time) with a 300 unit radius in target location dealing 70/100/130/160/190 (+60% of ability power) magic damage over a duration of 1 sec. and pulls all enemies hit to the center over the duration. (works like a root but moves enemies to the center instead of holding them in place meaning they can still cast spells and auto attack but have a set direction and destination they are moving to as well as speed).
E - Ripples
Toggle Cost – 10/12.5/17.5/25/35 mana/sec. Cooldown - 1 sec. at all ranks Range – self cast
Eliana emanates water from her body dealing 20/30/40/60/80 (+ 35% of ability power) magic damage every 1 sec. to every enemy within a 250 unit radius. The damage is increased by 10% if the enemy is inside a whirlpool. Half damage to minions and neutral monsters.
R – Stormy Seas
Cost – 150 mana Cooldown – 180/150/120 secs. 40% CDR – 108/90/72 secs. Range – self cast
Eliana calls upon the full might of the raging seas creating four Whirlpools (0.25 sec. cast time and cast location revealed like in W – Whirlpool) around herself 100 units from her to the front, back, and sides. Each Whirlpool deals 10% extra damage and lasts three times as long but slows instead of pulling them into the center. Slows for 45/55/65% and decays over the duration.
Playstyle
Eliana is an Mage/Assassin that works well getting in, popping a squishy, then activating her ultimate and E - Ripples to initiate a team fight dealing increased AOE damage to all units caught in the Whirlpools. This is effective only if she is not caught trying to flank as she is quite squishy and easy for other carries to take care of if focused. She is also very venerable when her W – Whirlpool is down as she has no other form of disengage allowing for ganks to be devastating (her Q – Water Jet is an engage and only works on Champions). For the most part your playstyle will revolve around you trying to find the perfect flanking opportunity and causing A.O.E. D.O.T. damage that supports your allies as they follow up on your initial burst engage that should have taken out one of the carries if done properly. A good combo would be a W - whirlpool into Q – Water Jet then R – Stormy Seas plus a E – Ripples activation after the ultimate for maximum damage output but be careful as after this combo if you have not taken out the squishes/carries you will be 100-0’ed in no time as said before no escapes + no mobility + squish = Death because if you use this combo and don’t kill the squishes/carries you have no way to get back out and basically just get dumped on. Yes, her passive does grant you a small shield but it is one of the smallest shields in the game with only its base granting much of anything as 10% of lets say 600 ability power is only 60 extra shield and this I see as something used more for single target assassinations as a little bit of a safety line because it has a 10 sec. cooldown it wouldn’t be very effective in a team fight situation and would get popped in an instant with it’s low durability.
